My parents and I had dinner here at the Mill Raleigh on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 between 5 pm and 630:pm. Had the best waitress who gave fabulous service. Just loved her. I had the Salmon and was amazing. The best Salmon I’ve ever had. It was full of flavour and cooked perfect. Thank you to our waitress and the chefs who gave us exceptional service and a dinner that was truly amazing. Please let them know how attentive and kind they were to us. Our dinner was delicious. Thank you again!!

It was okay. To make it 4 stars for me: wait staff should not have their personal phone in the back pocket. Also, the wait staff needs to know who is getting a particular dish. Asking the customer is low class. That is unacceptable in upscale restaurants. It is overpriced for what it offers. Menu is very limited. We would not dine there again.

I went here with my partner and we thought it was a good date spot.
While pricey, the entree options were good portions and tastey. However, I do have to say that the food was pretty over salted. I over salt my food and I often add salt to any dish I get, yet my partner and I both thought almost every item was on the overly salty side. I know some people don’t like salt so this is something to be aware of. My partner said that his pork chop was a little over cooked but most in restaurants are to be fair. My steak was perfectly medium rare
Know that there are two parts of the restaurant. We had no idea until we went to go to the bathroom before we left. We would’ve preferred to not sit on the side with the bar and the tv for the date. It was not rowdy or anything but the other side looked much more date vibes.
Overall, a good option.

Food was average....my biggest complaint was the wedge salad which should be iceburg lettuce...was not and was flat. Food selection is limited. Smash burgers and fries is good
My new spot beef short rib was outstanding shrimp and grits was on point as well as the New York strip once a week I must visit thank you guys service was excellent as well

We love The Mill! Since they have opened, we have brought several friends and family members here. Food and cocktails are always great. We love the atmosphere and there is something for everyone on the menu. Our group of friends went for a holiday dinner (about 20 of us) and the staff did a great job of welcoming us. Additionally, we brought our family and a group of friends to celebrate my son's 18th birthday. Highly recommend!

The food was delicious, and our server was amazing. However I noticed one of the other servers, who I later found out his name is Andrew, was acting very inappropriately. He was bouncing up and down trying to make his pecks jiggle. The other servers looked uncomfortable. I also heard him make inappropriate comments that I don’t even want to repeat here. Overall my experience was good. I just think that the workers shouldn’t be doing things like this while at work.
