This is time 3rd time visiting. Each visit was just as good as the first. The food was impeccable, the wait staff was friendly and attentive, and the drinks were great!! I just had the best grilled chicken sliders. The chicken breast was juicy, and the bread was very soft. I love the atmosphere too.

We went for the first time to celebrate a friend's birthday. I was excited for a good steak and some good food. The table ordered several starters, shrimp, oysters and bone marrow. Sides were carrots, mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese. All of our steaks came very rare, no matter how we ordered them. I can eat a rare steak, after ordering a medium, but I expected by 8 Oz filet and my husband's 16 oz rib-eye to have flavor. The only flavor to be had was the sauce for an additional charge. The meat, though tender was absolutely flavorless. The sides and starters were so unremarkable that I didn't have more than one bite, which is good because the shareable portions for the table were so small, it wasn't going to feed our party. The service was attentive. No complaints there. But they can't be attentive enough to make up for the bad food.

Neat dining experience! Met up with friends last night for dinner, first time for both parties. We were all very happy with our food and cocktails. We had all the sliders and all were a huge hit. The feta sauce on the lamb burger is amazing. The bourbon burger is so well balanced in flavor you could taste that it was grass fed beef. We all shared the creamy Mac and cheese, fresh cut fries; chipotle sour cream is an awakening, and the BBQ Brussels perfectly cooked maybe a little over salted but it didn’t stop us from finishing. We ended with the seasonal cheese cake with a toasted marshmallow topping that was a unique pairing with our drinks! My husband had a flight of bourbons that was explained beautifully by our awesome waitress. The rest of us had a delicious variety of cocktails. The Al’rye paired nicely with everything I ate. Our table was dutifully attended to but never rushed. The only downside to the otherwise beautiful atmosphere is how loud it is (it was hard to hear our amazing waitress)and the chairs are not comfortable on an old back. Nothing that would stop us from coming back but we may sit outside next time. I will certainly be craving the drinks and food until we meet again.

Only thing we didn’t really like much was the atmosphere of the restaurant, more like a bar than anything else, we had an idea of a nice dinner so it didn’t really check that box for us. Place is very clean and has a super selection of bourbons.

Went this evening and had a wonderful experience. We were happy to get seated on a Saturday night with no reservation! Our hostess was nice and turned on the heater in the outdoor area so it was nice and warm.
Our waitress (forgive me, can’t remember her name) was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. The kind of service that just doesn’t exist post-Covid anymore. She suggested modifications to the cocktails we wanted and they were fantastic! He got an old fashioned with coffee and chocolate bitters, and I got the 86 with bourbon instead of rum. Later he got the Mother’s Milk which was also a delicious cocktail. The old fashioned takes the cake though!
We ordered the mac n cheese and were totally blown away. I got the lamb sliders and Brussels sprouts and he got the short rib. Every bit of the meal, especially the short ribs (blue cheese butter omg) was phenomenal.
We finished with the dessert of the night: a ricotta cheesecake with caramel, apple, and an oatmeal cookie crust. So good!
He commented this is one of the only times he’s felt it was money well spent on a restaurant. Thanks to the Oak staff for helping us visitors have an incredible date night!

Sorry for the lack of pictures, it was way too good and forgot to take a picture first. Our waiter,Justin, IS AMAZING!! Totally ask for him as he is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. The food was extraordinary and nothing was left on our plates. Live 2 hours away but cannot wait to come back.
