Nice pleasant restaurant. Staff, and excellent food. Nice overlook of convention center and getting to watch people arrive for symphony and for comedy show thst night. And super hsndyforpsrking and short walk to cover. Esp. Good for less able persons and partners.

Overlook is a good place for a quick bite. I would not go there if I was looking for a nice meal with an interesting menu.

It was really nice. Although shortstaffed, the waitresses did their best to make sure we were accommodated. The food was absolutely delicious. We will be returning!

I was there for a conference and decided to eat at the hotel on Wednesday. The macaroni and cheese was amazing! The server was very nice and it was a pleasant experience.

Convenient for a pre-concert meal. Not too crowded when I was there. Excellent service. Chicken BLT was just OK.

Came here for the Valentines dinner and we loved it! Its on the 2nd floor of the downtown raleigh residence inn. Turn right around the corner after getting off the elevator or make a left after getting to the 2nd floor through the stairs. Also, make sure you're not standing in front of the employee elevator. (Don't ask me how I know)
The risotto was a tad salty but the salmon bites were great! We didn't like the eel sauce the mayo was great! I personally enjoyed both salads but my wife didn't like the strawberry salad due to the basilica vinegar being too sour. The Mahi Mahi was good and the lamb lollipop was also great with the mint jelly. Caution, sample the mint jelly before you go all out since you may not like it. The red velvet cake and the chocolate torte were both good but the red velvet is so moist and delicious you could probably just go with two of those and be happy!!!! Definitely give it a try!
