We visited prior to the performing art concert, which was convenient. The waiter was exceptional with the right amount of energy, and knowledgeable about beverages mixology and food. The meatloaf entree was delicious and the chicken and dumplings were flavorful, it was a wonderful experience.

Had some oddities. Drinks were off. Asked for sour cream and never received. Our order was misplaced and then came out without chicken. Everything was good and the staff fixed the problems and comped some things to make up for the issues. Then I forgot my phone and was across the street and late for a show. I turned back to get it and saw who I believe to be the manager (not sure) running across the street to deliver it. Honestly, it made up for everything else. Good place to go before seeing a show at Marietta Center.

I cannot recommend this place at all. Our orders were wrong , arrived late, had poor taste and overpriced for the level and quality of the dishes we ordered. The best items were the desserts. Look for other option downtown

Excellent and quick seating by the windows supporting our reservation we had great service by the staff at times two staff members supporting our table always came back to check to make sure we had what we wanted. The food selections were very tasty and the value paid for portion size was very good a place to consider when you're seeing shows at the Martin Marietta Center easy parking right next-door

Did not expect the quality of the food in a hotel to be so high. Service was prompt and friendly. The cocktail also had a large variety. I highly recommend the meatloaf if you go!

This was our first visit. We appreciate the cleanliness and relaxed atmosphere. Some of the dishes are small portions. Our server was kind, however; some of the other staff that visited our table were ingenuine. We did not appreciate staff clearing our table as we were trying to exit. We felt rushed; unnecessarily rushed because there was no crowd or line. We were seated 45 minutes before our reservation time and left at the time we reserved to dine. We ordered Crab Cakes as an appetizer for four people and received three. The menu did not state how many came in an order, but it would have been nice for our server to give us a heads up about the quantity. Lastly, there was a lot of confusion about the location of the restaurant. It's on the second floor of the hotel, not the tenth.

Had a wonderful dinner. Chef Johnny was fantastic at helping me navigate the menu based on my food allergies. He was very knowledgeable and extremely kind! He definitely made the dinner special!

The staff was very accommodating and very responsive when I did not like the food. The flatbread tasted like a boxed crust (Bisquick). I ordered the seared salmon, which tasted boiled. It has no flavor and was clearly previously frozen. This was the worst meal I have ever had in Raleigh. The Meymandi Concert Hall had far better hors d'oeuvre, which saved me before the show.

This restaurant deserves it's good reviews. Far better than I expected for a hotel restaurant (it is on the second floor of the Residence Inn). Nice selection of American fare, presented attractively and cooked beautifully. Prices are very reasonable and it is steps from the Meymandi Theater.

Made a reservation for a nice Saturday night out with my wife!!
Get to Hotel to find out that there is an event across the street so $10 to park in deck no big deal.
Get to restaurant looks very nice have a patio spot overlooking the PerformingArts Center good start!
We order drinks and an app all good so far server is nice attentive seems like it is going to be a nice night.

Wife orders entree then I order entree and server says oh No we are out of that! Ok happens. I ask for a minute to make an alternative decision but before leaving she says I forgot to tell you we are changing the menu on Monday so we are out of alot. She recommends the steak they have that!!
I look over the menu and decide to go with her recommendation for a $35 Ribeye yea!!
New server shows up??
I order said Ribeye and he says let me make sure we have that and he doubt that they do. I inform him she recommended it and he says we will figure it out .
Comes back moments later and says they are out of the steak as well. At this point we are done they only have 5 entrees and they are out of them all.
My issue is that we made an online reservation and they very easily could have called us and said we have no entrees just to give you a heads up before you make a trip to our restaurant with No Food!!
The took care of the app which was nice but we were left with an evening in Downtown Raleigh with no reservation for dinner!!

That is no way to run a business!!
Will never eat nor recommend this establishment to anyone.
