Great date night spot! We started with drinks, charcuterie and a quick game of checkers! The house has an understated beauty simply decorated in neutrals. Not overwhelming or period overdone like some historical homes. It’s fresh and inviting with bouquets of flowers popping against the subtle scheme. It’s quiet for intimate conversation. The atmosphere of the Parlour is warm, cozy, exquisite, and unique. We celebrated our anniversary here, and it felt really special. Sean the bartender was so friendly, and told us all about the history of the house. We returned another night and sat by the fire with our books and journals. It's a truly special place!
The tea itself sat in the kettles the entire time, oversteeping and ultimately making the teas (especially green and black) bitter.
The bites were all pretty good, but nothing was all that memorable or really reached a level I expected based on the price...
