The Pickled Onion Restaurant & Bar

I visited for the first time from Cleveland. The staff was so nice and attentive. The food was excellent. The drinks were great and inexpensive. The atmosphere was fabulous. The customers were just as friendly as the staff. I will definitely patronize this establishment when I return.

First time trying them out and sweet potato fries were cold, quesadilla and steak and cheese wrap had more onions and peppers than actual steak. The steak tastes like Steak’em. They definitely need more staff that’s able to be attentive to customers.

Friday night, around 7:30 pm. Good crowd but not too crowded. I was by myself and sat down at table. Appeared to be four or five servers, however, it was about 10 minutes or so before a server asked me what I wanted to drink. I was there to watch a football game, which I normally do since they opened. Lots of TVs and usually every game is on. Well on this Friday night, it was the only live game on, and yes they were showing it, BUT for some reason they didn't want to put the sound. I asked a manager about the volume, and he said couldn't do it. Totally disappointed. I just have to find my NFL games somewhere else now!

The only saving grace this place has is one of the bartenders, JD. Sub-par food, sub-par service from anyone else.

We decided to give The Pickled Onion a try. We got there at 7:01pm! Had drinks in hand and food ordered by 7:10 and food in hand by 7:15! We had a total of 5 waitresses and 1 waiter! That is insane. All seemed happy and worked so well together. The food was amazing. I had a Philly Wrap with Pub Chips and hubby had the Buffalo Smack which was mac n cheese with Buffalo Shrimp. He said it was GREAT! Seriously if you are ever in the area you need to try it out. The place was packed when we got there. We were in and out in 30 mins. I strongly suggest this place.

I'm giving 4 stars because our servers were nice & attentive, plus the atmosphere was good for a sports bar. The food was kind of lacking in flavor. Probably won't return. We only ended up here because the restaurant we were trying to go to is closed on Mondays & we didn't know they were closed until we arrived.

The fish and chips is always good , the cook always make my fish perfect , however, the ladies serving today had an attitude about something. I noticed they were serving everybody around us but me and my friends . It’s all good I can’t wait to go in there when JD is there , he is the man.

Great staff, Food was good! The Crack fire was tasty, and big fan of the pub chips.
