I had this wonderful tea called Rooibos Jungle Fire at a friend's, and hunted down this shop to order more. I live out of state and have become a fan! Deliveries are quick, the items are of high quality, and the service is friendly and helpful. As a repeat customer, I have had various teas and honey. I'm so glad to have found this shop!

Never disappointed by the teas I receive, but the slow turnaround on shipping online orders is a bit aggravating. My experience has been it takes at least two days from an order until it is packaged and shipped. Don’t order on a Monday hoping to have your order for the following weekend, even when the destination is in the same state!

I wish I had gotten the name of the young lady who helped me both over the phone and in person, but I want to share my amazing experience at Tin Roof. I called looking for something similar to Teavana’s “Youthberry White Tea,” which I used to stock up on before they went out of business. After finally running out (despite vacuum-sealing my stash!), I reached out to two shops in town, and Tin Roof stood out immediately.
The young lady I spoke with asked if I knew the ingredients, and when I read the description, she started making thoughtful suggestions right away. I told her I’d stop by after work, and when I arrived, I was warmly greeted. I was thrilled to see a thriving small business bustling with customers! The same young lady from the call recognized me instantly and remembered our conversation, which felt so personable and genuine.
She helped me create a tea blend similar to what I was looking for, and when I got home and tried it, I was blown away. While it wasn’t an exact match, it was even better than I expected. I couldn’t be happier with the experience and the product—I’m officially a forever customer!
The vibe, the exceptional customer service, and the welcoming atmosphere made my visit so enjoyable. For anyone considering where to shop, Tin Roof is the spot! Their variety is incredible, and I’m excited to go back and explore more. I also noticed they have a tea bar where they prepare teas for you, which I didn’t try this time, but I’m looking forward to on my next visit.

My favorite new place! I took a tea loving visitor here and now I'm a regular! Overwhelming selection staffed by helpful people who are passionate about tea. Still haven't found one I don't like. Start with the helpful sampler selections in the middle of the store.

Great selection of teas but not so good a place to sit and sip WiFi is non existent and staff are too tied up helping customers with large shopping orders to make any drinks this place would have much more potential if it hired enough staff to make its cafe section function and had internet access.

My last two visits I have been treated like I was not wanted in the store. Refused courtesies offered to other customers and overcharged from the list price for teas. The inconsistency is frustrating.
Shopping elsewhere in the area or online may be better than risking poor treatment here.
My husband and I recently returned from Japan and I have been on the hunt for a place that sells tea like I had in Japan and I was so excited to find this place. I ordered a tea tonight while in store to drink on the drive home and it was phenomenal! I am definitely looking forward to coming back. Great location, friendly staff, great inventory!

Amazing spot. I'm trying to learn more about tea, and the owner was super approachable. Coached me through a ton of stuff without making me feel like I had no clue. The store has TONS of varieties and you can buy a cup of any of them iced or hot to take them for a taste test.
I'll be back again and again, mostly because I appreciate how I was treated.

This place is a tea lovers dream. If you ever wanted to yo your tea game, this is the place. They have any ingredient you might want to make your own blends with and there house blends are delicious (we particularly enjoy the rip van winkle). Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions.

Flavors, aromas and experiences to please any type of tea aficionado..- parking was an absolute nightmare with it being a Saturday afternoon and I nearly gave up to head home. I'm glad I held out for a spot because the parking anxiety was well worth it in the end. I was greeted with pleasant smells of leaves and friendly staff members.
I love the selection of sample packs for those looking for variety, and the ability to order a cuppa your way with what looks to be any tea available for sale in the store. I picked out a fruity blend for home brewing and a hot tea to go. There's a counter in the back with plush seats so you can get away from the cold as well.
All in all I loved this place and will be back to stock up again, though perhaps not on a Saturday afternoon a week before Christmas 😅
