Soooo happy my hubby and I came here! just visiting from out of town. Laid-back, chill atmosphere, trendy music from all over the world, and the food was so good. We each had cocktails as well, no funky syrups here! Muddled fruits that give texture and taste super fresh. The ramen was some of the best I ever had and they were very accommodating to food sensitivities. Gender neutral bathrooms, friendly service, delicious food and drink. The only tiny con I would say is that service was a teeeeeeensy bit slow, but the quality was so awesome it didn’t affect the overall experience. If we’re ever back in town we will definitely be back!

Nice low key place with a comfortable atmosphere. There is a second floor where music is played and first floor is more quiet to talk. Food was really good and service prompt.

I went for dinner last night on a date and was so underwhelmed. I will say the atmosphere and music was nice we sat in the upstairs area and the overall ambiance was excellent, drinks weren’t too expensive and tasted great BUT…. The food was absolutely not good we order teriyaki chicken quesadillas and the fried pork belly. It all tasted straight from the freezer and came out lukewarm. How do you messed up quesadillas cheese tasted gritty and rice bowl was plain white rice and bland sauce. To be honest I’d return for drinks and the vibe but never for the food !

The spicy tuna nachos are to die for! I had the birria ramen, and my wife had the buns. Both of these came out so so good. We will 100% return to try more the next time we are in town.

My hubby came across this restaurant on IG, and decided this would be one of the places he'd bring me to for my pre-birthday meal! Tonbo did not disappoint us one bit! The atmosphere with the decor and staff was inviting, the food was AMAZING and our bartender and server did her thing with our drinks. Everything was perfect for starting off my birthday eve just right.

Parking: Parking is the typical type of downtown city parking. There might be times where you'll be lucky to find a spot on the street, across the street from the restaurant and other times you'll have to find parking in waking distance.

The food is great and healthy but I tend to eat Ramen to save money. 25 dollars for a bowl of Ramen including tip is just to much

Notice in the other reviews I’m not the only one who has noticed the quality of food has definitely changed with the new ownership. I’m all for making additions to the menu but don’t change things on the menu that were absolute must have. Ramen still seems to be the same but the wings are no longer grilled and super tender. The spicy tuna nachos definitely have been tampered with (not the original recipe). This use to be one of my fav place to go with my kids but after tonight’s visit I’m done. Drinks are still good and if you love Latin music like myself then atmosphere is good. I’ll just order to go Ramen for my son from now on.

Ramen Sundays was a staple in our household -- we LOVED Tonbo. Unfortunately, once it switched ownership we've had nothing but issues. The food quality is slowly declining, ordering online is impossible, and when you call to order over the phone there is a huge communication barrier which causes our order to be messed up. I am sad to say we've decided to look for a new ramen place. Really hope the new owners can turn this place around or else I don't know how it will last.
