Been buying chicken salad since they were on Six Forks Rd. Yes, love the chicken salad, however, went there today and bought a lb to take home. Cost was $17.51. This is ridiculous!!!!
Very welcoming and warm atmosphere. If you are traveling through North Carolina it is definitely worth the 5 minutes off the freeway. If you have a picky palate the sandwich with a pickle and a piece of strawberry cake will make your day.
Chicken salad is not worth the hype. It’s the traditional style, with eggs & pickles, (and maybe celery). Something in it made it sweet. Not my kind of chicken salad for sure. I will say the portion was generous and the service was top notch though. Maybe I’ll come back in a Thursday & try the chicken and pastry.
