I placed a pickup order for four wraps and a smoothie, which my mother-in-law was supposed to collect for our family.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, she provided my name, only to be met with confusion—staff had no record of the order or its whereabouts. After escalating to the manager and showing the order number, we were told the order had already been picked up. The manager then stated it was not the staff’s responsibility if the food was missing—essentially, it had been stolen.

How is it not the staff’s responsibility to ensure that orders are given to the right person—the paying customer? This location simply makes orders, places them on an unattended shelf, and allows anyone to grab them without verification. No proof of purchase, no name confirmation—nothing. This is an open invitation for theft.

I'm not writing this review for an apology or free coupons, so don’t bother offering them. This is a direct callout to the franchise owner and management: Your system is failing, and your staff’s negligence is enabling theft. Blaming paying customers instead of addressing your lack of safeguards is unacceptable. It is your responsibility to ensure orders reach the correct person. Fix it.

I had a good experience here the other day. Matt was helpful when I had a question about smoothie ingredients. Honestly, I think a lot of people want to complain about everything when if comes to the service industry and the young adults who predominately fill those roles. I don't expect perfection. I will definitely be going back.

Ta’Mea was sooo incredible, She helped me with choosing the best smoothie. I definitely recommend coming to this certain smoothie spot, I mean they have the best of the best. I will be coming here again thanks to her!

honestly save your time and just stop at a different location, not only will they lie, and over charge you instead of processing a refund
they wont even attempt to work it out with me after 7 calls

I did not order any food or beverages so I can't rate that. I attempted to buy a gift card. The employee told me that they did not sell gift cards even though there was a gift card display on the counter. The employee suggested I go to another location to buy a gift card.

Apparently, the smoothie bowls are NOT FRESHLY MADE! I have been to this location twice now. The first time the food was good and the customer service was quick. On my second visit, I received a smoothie bowl that was not even halfway full. I went to the counter and told them I didn’t feel I was given what I paid for. The girl went to the back for a moment and then came out to tell me that whoever had prepped the night before had not filled the bowl properly and that they did not have any more of the flavor I wanted. I made it clear that I had paid $14.29 (which did include a tip, so the bowl is closer to $13) and felt it was unfair that I paid + tipped yet received well under the normal amount of food. She went back to the kitchen & somehow made enough to fill my bowl, but it was really chalky and was not blended well. I usually do not complain, but this place brags about serving fresh food, yet told me that I couldn’t have a full serving because of prep issues. It also wasn’t that busy, so it’s not like they were in a rush. I feel like they were okay with skimping me & would have allowed me to pay $14 for half a serving. I still like the food but I probably won’t go back to this location.

Crappy service. Really no attempt to help customers. Asked for kid size smoothie in a different size flavor, which I’ve done before. Employeee was not willing to help. So I got a kid size drink and subbed one of the fruits, which was okay. But I had to figure that out by myself… which is why I stated they do not attempt to help customers. Asked for extra chipotle mayo, I see the lady selected extra mayo and it was an $0 add on. She continues to select buttons until something came up and she decided to try to charge me an extra $1 for mayo. I didn’t pay for it. Just overall bad experience and I’ve never had a crappy experience at Tropical Smoothie before.

I usually never do reviews but my experience at this location was absolutely horrendous! The customer service at this place deserves negative stars! Don’t waste your time or money at this location! They have children pretending to be managers or shift leaders! They are completely incompetent & have no clue on how a business should be ran or good customer service. I ordered an island green smoothie, chipotle chicken flatbread, and Hawaiian slider for delivery. After over an hour of waiting for my delivery , the dasher Benmil never showed up and lied on the app stating that he handed me the food. He never called or text to find my location or nothing. For all i know he could have eaten my food! I immediately call the restaurant for a refund or remake of the order and some young girl name Logan answered the phone stating there is no manager available and she was the shift leader. She then refuses to give me the cooperate office number and or remake my order for free . She claims it was not tropical smoothies fault and It was on the DoorDash driver . She then says that i would have to order again, pay for another order ,and maybe receive a refund for the first one some days later after going on the app. So basically instructing me to go on the app in figure it out myself. She didn’t offer any kind of solutions , lacked the knowledge/didn't even bother to try in fix issue! I can tell she was improperly trained and quite rude . Is this the kind of representation you guys want for your company? If so that bad for business! Im a general manager and that’s not professional or how business is ran efficiently! The very next morning i called the restaurant again in ask for a manager. Once again no manager available, so i spoke with another girl pretending to be the shift leader. I told her the situation of everything that transpired with my order the night before and she tells me that I can’t receive a refund ,that its nothing that they can do for me , and proceeds to hang up the phone. Completely rude and unprofessional staff. So i then had to drive all the way to the store and speak with your shift leaders in person to get full understanding and a refund after all that disinformation. Your shift lead Logan was very unpleasant and didn't offer me anything complimentary for all that inconvenience! She stated as though she did me a favor by giving me a full refund for my order i never received . A order in which you guys and your partnering company messed up. Which is a complete joke! It’s quite obvious that there needs to be adult managers in the building at all times supervising this type of foolishness & nonsense ! I have been ordering with this company for years and i would not advise anyone to visit this location. Ive seen bad , but this is by far the most incompetent staff I’ve seen at any tropical smoothie location. I would like to speak with someone in the cooperate office or the head manager in charge of this operation asap.

Sad that when items are missing from your order they can’t deliver it to you. Hopefully Uber Eats doesn’t direct me to this location again.

Ordered the Bahama mamma bowl, they gave me a smoothie. Then refused to rectify the error and told me I needed to pay for the bowl I wanted. The size of the bowls are ridiculously too small for the price. Never coming back

I placed an order through the tropical smoothie app for delivery because I was at work. I never received my order. So I called tropical smoothie to see if they could redeliver or refund it and they said they can’t do anything I need to call DoorDash. Which sounded weird to me because typically if I ordered through the app they are responsible for refunds even if DoorDash was the one that delivered. So I called DoorDash and they said I need to call tropical smoothie. I called tropical smoothie again because it seems to be no one knows what to do and they told me to call DoorDash. I know that I don’t need to speak with DoorDash since tropical smoothie is the one that took my money and payment details. But everyone seems to be confused. This is also the second time this has happened to me. I never received a refund for the first instance and from what it seems I won’t get a refund for this instance. Terrible service on tropical smoothies part. Employees don’t seem to know what’s going on and when people’s money are involved it’s pretty crazy everyone seem clueless
