Delicious, prompt service, no issues at all. Just wish portions were a little bigger for the price!
Horrible experience truly slow server Sat there for an hour and change until food came and came out wrong
Our server was amazing! Food was excellent as has been my experience with each visit. Still wish the piped in music would be turned off but suspect there's some reason what restaurants do that (but for those who see a dinner out as a time for conversation, it's just annoying).
We so enjoyed our dinner at Tupelo Honey. As good as the fried chicken was, the sides were equally as good. The brussel sprouts and fried okra are off the charts! Also appreciate the creative mocktails. Great to have this as an option for dinner in addition to brunch.
This was my second visit, and unfortunately, it was the complete opposite of my first experience. The quality of both food and service was unacceptable. • Drinks: Found a long black strand of hair in one of the drinks – completely ruined the experience. • Food: The dish was so overcooked it was impossible to cut, let alone eat. • Service: Poor and inattentive throughout the visit, which only added to the frustration. After such a disappointing experience, I will not return and cannot recommend this place to anyone. It's a shame because my first visit was great, but consistency clearly isn't their strength.
The service and food are great! I live in Orlando so I have high expectations and this restaurant truly values its customers. We did have a long wait to receive our food and the portion sizes are smaller than expected for the price. Nonetheless, they use serve good food and their excellent customer service was worth the wait. I recommend visiting here!
Our server, Hailey, was amazing! We arrived with a reservation, but it was during what seemed like the busiest part of their day. She immediately apologized for our wait, even though we were only waiting for, maybe, 5 minutes (and even before she arrived, she sent the manager, Matt, to our table with some water). She was fun and didn't seemed overwhelmed. She made some excellent menu recommendations and took our order, and very soon after that, a delicious brunch was at our table. She made sure to check on us and refill our water and coffee, but she did not hover. She anticipated our needs, gave them to us, and then vanished until we needed something else. The food was hot and fresh, and the ambience was fun and inviting. We'll definitely be back!
Food was not so good, grits were terrible the goat cheese overpowered the grits. The chicken sandwich was tasty and coffee was okay.
New Year's Day brunch was wonderful! Mimosa, garden omelet with goat cheese grits! Others had chicken and waffles, smothered chicken and omelets. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I highly recommend.
Our server Cheryl was fantastic. She juggled multiple tasks effortlessly throughout our visit, all while ensuring my family and I were well taken care of. It's been a long time since I've experienced such exceptional service.

Our hostess / server was incredibly professional and amazing. She offered great suggestions from the menu and high quality of service. Will definitely coming back for the chicken and waffles!
Restrooms were nasty. Food was cold - fish and fries Chicken was hard and tasted like it was re-heated from earlier
The bathroom was smelly and disgusting. I also just didn't live the ambience, but the food was good and had a very good server.
I have dined at Tupelos for many years starting in Asheville. I have had many great meals. This last meal was such a disappointment. My Salmon was so tough and dry I could not finish eating it. My salad tasted “off”. When I finally found some wait staff and told them, they were very complacent about it and said they would “let the kitchen know”. They then presented me with over a thirty dollar bill for a meal I could not eat. This was the last Tupelo meal for me. It's a shame. Really loved it in the past.
This was my 3rd time eating here and unfortunately my worst as far as food quality. I ordered the smothered chicken which came with 2 sides. The first side I got was the chicken poblano soup, this was the highlight of my meal. It was hot, tasty and had a lil kick to it. It was perfect for a chilly rainy night. When my entree came out, I was worried, I could see the chicken, which should have been golden brown, mine was VERY dark. It was tuff and dry in the middle. If it was fried, It was either cooked too long or cooked in old oil. I also ordered the mac n cheese, it was just "ok". I would certainly come back again for their regular fried chicken or the soup, but not the smothered chicken.
