If I could leave 0 stars, I would. My husband, myself and our 1 year old daughter just left the downtown location. As we were eating our ice cream our daughter was being playful and doing as a young toddler does and screaming in excitement. It was at this point I looked over and saw the young Asian man working there give the strangling hand motion one of his other coworkers. I am disgusted at the fact that a family owned and family centered business would condone their employees to acting this way. High disappointed and will never return.
Absolutely the BEST Ice Cream ever. Nice selections with weekly specials. Cool memorabilia for purchase.

I don’t leave reviews often but had an awful experience tonight. I’ve been a loyal Two Roosters customer for a few years now- no complaints about their ice cream, cakes, special order products- all so tasty! Tonight I went in to pick up an order at Lead Mine and stood there for quite a bit before any of the 3 employees acknowledged me- there was no line at all, finally one of the girls (she was wearing an orange t-shirt tonight) turned around, looked at me with a look and then turned right back around to talk with the other employee. Didn’t acknowledge me at all, just looked at me and turned right back to her coworker who finally came up and helped me. I honestly was taken aback by the girl in the orange t-shirt… having delicious ice cream is important but so is just plain respect and customer service. Hoping it was just a one-off thing.

The flavors are the main attraction here. They have a standard set of recurring flavors and "guest" flavors that rotate. The location can be a bit crowded and finding parking is a challenge. While there is outside seating, it is shared with several other restaurants next door, so things can become very chaotic.

Best ice cream in the world. If Two Roosters has no fans, I must be dead.

Stopped by for a tiny scoop after enjoying some sushi. We sampled a few of the flavors before making a decision. We got the Horchata Oreo and Coffee Bourbon, absolutely delicious.

This is my favorite ice cream place in Raleigh and I’ve been to all! Love the flavors and texture of their ice cream. The only issue I’ve had is once in a while I’ll get a bad scoop or pint that doesn’t have the mix ins.
