Vic's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

This place is the place you go to and enjoy quality Italian food. It’s off the beaten path tucked away, in the south side of the square. But where some may believe it lacks in decor or modern design it flourishes in quality Italian food. The bread was fresh, the pizza was perfectly cooked, the Chicken Marsala came out with crispy yet soft vegetables. I was in town for a short amount of time but found a hidden gem thanks to a kind woman that told me where to go from the Marbles Children’s museum just across the city center. Our server was polite and accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone looking for not just pizza but a great meal.

I ordered an 18-inch Meat Eater pizza and waited nearly 25 minutes, only to receive a pizza that did not look fresh or hot. My children love pizza, but they didn’t enjoy this one at all because it didn’t taste or look freshly made. When I called to express my concern, the employee told me that all their pizzas are made from scratch and said, “When you see a fresh pizza, you’ll know.” Unfortunately, this pizza did not look or taste fresh, and the response I received felt dismissive rather than helpful.😡😡😡

What an amazing meal!! Highly recommend this authentic Italian restaurant. The service was terrific, and food incredible. We all got desserts, and that was the best decision of the night. The lemoncello cake and Canoli were my favorite!

Felt very rushed to order food. When we were ready a receipt was never given. Then it was extremely expensive and I realized tip probably between 15%-20% was added without saying nowhere ANYTHING and then they even ask you if you want to leave more tip. Very disappointed

At it's inception, I imagine Vic's was all the rage. Several covers, open to close, people raving about the food. Tonight my husband was served a plate of oil with pasta and other items on it and I received linguine with Prego sauce and scant few clams. It's sad really, watching Vic at his desk tucked up to the kitchen entry. When the people stop coming, when the neighborhood changes. But in it's heyday!!!
