The food is always too notch like you except from a local provider. Try the specials. It's really more good than you should eat!

A local staple that’s getting ruined by their staff.

I get lunch from Village Deli about once a week or so. The BLT with avocado is a usual for me, and I enjoy it every time. Their chicken tenders with homemade ranch are really tasty. I usually order online to n get my food to go. The order is always correct which is impressive.Parking: Can be hard to find at lunch.Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids.

I’ve been here a few times over the years! I love the family/community dining set up. It’s a nice southern deli filled with hard working people, not a full size restaurant. My current go to is the friend green tomato blt sandwich it’s so delicious with sweet potato fries. If you’re feeling fancy try the pineapple cake…it’s light, fluffy, and the icing is so airy. The customer service is always top notch even the teens working there are full of manners, and helpfulness.

Loved the soup special for the day! Spinach soup - perfect for the climate. The sweet potato fries were good too.

Had the fish and chips with sweet potato fries. The fish smelled very fishy and was way overcooked. The fries were limp and not very seasoned. I realize it's not a seafood restaurant, but it shouldn't be on the menu. The restaurant itself feels grimy. I ate there years ago and it didn't feel this way.

There must be a new owner or manager. Worst ever food. My order was wrong I ordered 2 chicken salads and 1 egg salads and go all egg. In addition asked for NO mayo and the sandwiches were covered with mayo. Will never order from village deli again. Btw been a customer for at least 10 if not 15 years.

Has gone down hill. This used to be one of my favorite Deli shops in the area, usually getting a Reuben. The sandwich quality to price ratio is WAY off. The last time I got a BLT, it had a thin layer of lettuce, and not much bacon at all. And they threw in a slice of bread in the middle possibly to make it look like a big sandwich. Worst BLT ever. Next, I got a ham and cheddar "melt" that I thought would be great on a cold day. The entire sandwich was cold. Asked if I could throw it in the microwave to get it to "melt" status. Overall the food here is very middle of the road and you will spend at least $45 for two people. Their iced tea and pickles are good, you can at least count on that.

A friendly bright southern deli atmosphere. Triple the meat on any gas station sandwich wrapped in plastic wrap and you’ll have a pretty good idea of what you’re getting here. There’s nothing to like about these sandwiches besides nostalgia for a brown bag school lunch but sometimes that’s just what we’re looking for.
