My car broke down near here and I decided to come in for a drink while I waited for a tow truck. Breanna was great! While I had a drink she went outside and did a full engine swap on my car before the truck even got here. Saved me so much money and made a great cocktail. Thanks Breanna!

This is a great spot to grab a beer! It has a great vibe. Really good chicken and fish and chips. Awesome red ale.

The food was sooo good and you get big portions for a good price. Also had the pretzel nuggets (not pictured) and there were plenty for three people. I got the adult bacon grilled cheese with sweet potato waffle fries and it was great and excited to have leftovers for later!

Food is good and decent pricing and portions but y’all forgot my cornbread again w my salad :((((
Never in my life have I written a google review, but I feel like I’d be doing a disservice to the community if I didn’t. Some of the worst food I’ve ever had. To start the night off, we waited at least 15 minutes to receive any service. I myself am a server so I give a lot of grace, but this was just unacceptable. I can look past the bad service because everyone has bad days, but what I can’t look past is the sorry excuse for food that my date and I were served. We ordered an appetizer of “beer cheese nachos” and what we received was appalling. We were given a plate with what looked like generic grocery store chips, cold queso out of a jar, a few shreds of lettuce, a dollop of sour cream, and last but not least, chunks of chicken that were unmistakably out of a can. Truly, it looked like a 4th grader made it. Mind you, it was 14 bucks. Next came the entrees. My date got a burger, which looked like it had barely been acquainted by the grill. I got a quesadilla, which again contained chewy, canned chicken. The fries were the most edible thing on the table, however, were not fully cooked and just mid. This meal cost 50 bucks that we’ll never get back, and honestly I’m sick even thinking about it. Again, I’ve never written a google review and I rarely complain when I have the privilege of going out to enjoy a nice dinner, but like I said I felt compelled to write this as it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had.

A late night (9PM) bite to eat brought us here. The burger and fries were good. Excellent service with the server checking back multiple times to make sure we did not need anything.

Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Sadie was a rock star server. I live in Nashville. If I lived in Raleigh, I'd be a regular and also huge. The portions were large and everything was great.

This was my first time here and although there were a lot of options on the menu, I chose the perfect one! The turkey avocado sandwich was so filling and delicious! The sweet potato fries were good as well, but I wish they were less thin and crispy. I will be coming back again.

There was no wait, but took a very long time to be seated. Workers were huddled up in the back. You are best off sitting at the bar. Food came out cold.

First time here and the joint was packed! I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly, very attentive, and gave great suggestions and honest feedback about what I should order.
I wasn't a fan of the seasoning on the green beans, but I'm aware that is my opinion. They were cooked to the perfect tenderness, though.
The mac 'n cheese is good but definitely needs salt and pepper or maybe even hot sauce. It's very bland otherwise.
My steak was cooked to the right temperature and was fantastic!
They have a vast beer menu, including amber ales!!! 💓
I'll come here again with more folks and update all y'all on the group dining experience here.

This is a great brewpub with excellent food. There is a huge range of draft beers, dozens and dozens of them, and the food is excellent - the fish n chips I had (7/25) is one of the best fish n chips I've had in the US - I'm British and I've eaten _a lot_ of fish n chips in my life. Most American fish n chips aren't that great but I thoroughly recommend the Village Draft House's fish n chips.

They fired the best bartender of all time, John. I go about half as much now. That said good food and drinks.
