The food was sooooo amazing!!! Our waiter was also! The atmosphere was very calm and laid back and the staff were all so welcoming and friendly. My boyfriend and I went here for the first time and we were blown away! We had the shrimp and grits and the chicken and sausage pasta! Both were amazing and we will definitely be back!!!

Ravn was our waiter last night and he was awesome. We rolled up two families with 5 kids amongst the two and he was fast, funny, and on top of it which is much appreciated when dealing with young toddlers and babies. Two thumbs up my man.

We were sat quickly outside per our request during a busy time. Many accommodations were made for our group’s total of 3 toddlers and 2 infants. The kids’ food was brought out in about 10 minutes, maybe even faster, which is always a huge plus. Our server Ravn was calm, witty and attentive. He struck the perfect balance of being personable and available, but not overbearing. He handled the chaos of our children with grace and understanding. It was an extremely pleasant experience overall!Kid-friendliness: Thumbs up for a changing station in the bathroom with a working buckle!!

This one is a sleeper!!! Lafayette Village Grill has a great ambiance with even better food. Service was exceptional and friendly. We had drinks, appetizers and amazing dinner! We highly recommend this restaurant! Our server David was awesome!

We were hesitant to eat here from some of the reviews… but we are so glad we came. We wanted to give our review for those thinking of coming. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Everyone was so attentive. The food was delicious! We started with the calamari, got the bistro burger, and finished off with the beignets. If you’re thinking of coming, you won’t regret it!

We had our community women’s group meetup here and the food was good. I wish they had more options for the brunch.It seems they have a new menu that the waiter wasn’t too familiar with, but he was excellent in servicing us and the atmosphere was great as well. I’ll be coming back soon with family.Kid-friendliness: Many families with kids. The tables are nicely spaced out for everyone’s comfort

Good food, great vibe. You get healthy portion sizes and the smaller menu makes it hard to decide between good options. We had an amazing server (Kristine) and met the manager who was also very kind. Do yourself a favor and get the beignets.Update: food was great but made us sick that night. We both had burgers & upset tummies.
Delicious burger! I can't remember the name, but it had pimento cheese on it and was cooked right at medium. The French fries were a bit disappointing and I didn't eat all of them. My side of coleslaw was decent. Our server was friendly, but it took a while to get him a few times because he was covering multiple tables.

This was our first time going here and we loved it! Everyone was so kind, friendly, and helpful. From the moment we walked in we were given the warmest welcome. Our server was amazing and took the time to offer great recommendations to help us choose what we wanted. The food was amazing!!! We had the dynamite sticks, shrimp and grits, and the spicy sausage and chicken pasta. The portions were extremely generous- we barely ate half of anything! When we were done the manager came over and talked to us about our experience! We will definitely be back!!!
Waffle fries and French fries were hard and appeared stale. Pimento burger had a sauce that wasn't doing it any favors. Mashed potatoes had something strange in them, possibly a crouton.We had a new waiter but he was good.
