So I loved the fact that they had the choice of outdoor and indoor seating available, but the interior is rather slim. The food is quite good, and the servers were all very friendly. We were surprised to find the place mostly empty though, in spite of the trendy vibe and yummy food. Regardless, we enjoyed this place a lot

I’ve always loved this place. Be sure to order their homemade chips and queso- I’ve never had better (seriously)! Besides some recent price creep, this place is amazing

Cute little place but that's about it EAT BEFORE YOU GO. July 30- Had the chips and queso and that was good. We both had the "chicken" paella. Two bite sizes pieces of chicken and some plantains and a very small serving of rice with onions $15 total ripoff. If you want good paella head to Bahama Breeze. It's excellent and you can't eat the whole thing. The server looked like she would rather be anywhere else than Virgil's. No redeeming qualities about this place other than it's cute but not that cute

This is the first time I went to bar and receive a kinda first class service with the people. They are the best in Raleigh... love you guys. If you need a place to go, pass by to see them

Very nice staff. Cool atmosphere. Music was a at a good level to still have conversation.Food came out pretty quickly. Waitress was attentive and friendly. I liked that there was a raleigh cocktail. Lots of GF, Vegan and vegetarian options.

I took my wife out. It was a very fun little place. The food was great. The drinks were great and the staff was very friendly.

Parking: The parking garage was very easy to get in and out of. Easy to pay from your phone. Overall, it was a great experience.

Go for the drinks, avoid the food.Visiting from out of town and hotel recommended Virgil’s. The atmosphere was great and the drink was good but the food was bad. Good in concept, poor execution. My flautas were burnt and soggy at the same time. Chips that came with the salsa were incredibly salty.

Great location, cute spot, almost inedible food. Weird sugar on the chips, seriously “off” taste in the watery margarita, and one fish taco tasted rotten. The only things we sort of liked were the green salsa and the guacamole, but didn’t know how to eat either since the chips were sweet. Then the fire alarm went off … bad night.

Place has gone downhill a bit in my opinion. Margaritas were literally not good. Tasted watered down and lacking lime. Their chips are good but sugar and salt on them tastes super weird with salsa. Tacos and carnitas were also very average.We sat near the back of the restaurant and were still cold. Felt like they had no heat running in the building.All in all, not a great experience.

All in all great date night, drinks are great, you have 3 and you are drunk lol. Food was great and very tasty! BUT AS GOOD AS THE CHIPS ARE. WE NEED NACHOS ON THE MENU ASAP!

Meh, underwhelmed. Pros: elote and music. Cons: everything else… The restaurant is so dark I felt like my boomer mom having to use my phone to read the menu lol. Service was lacking. Carne asada was bland, no seasoning or flavor. Chicken quesadilla was way too expensive to be shredded chicken and it was also soggy on the bottom. Sopes tasted like they were doused in grocery store adobo sauce. $95 for 1 drink, 2 apps and 2 entrees? I won’t be back.

Was taken here for my birthday dinner and was very pleased with everything. Ceviche was fantastic and the sopes were delicious! Everyone in our party loved the food. Drinks were delicious. Will absolutely dine there again.
