Personally have never been a fan of Waffle House due to last experiences and the stereotypes around it but the manager here was welcoming from the beginning which set the vibe right. I believe his name was AJ or something along those lines but nevertheless he truly set the tone for my meal. Food isn’t really my type but the entertaining from him and the rest of the team members really made the experience a great one. I might just come back.

as soon as we walked in the employees were extremely rude. as a server myself, i understand working late night is hard but if you treat your tables with the assumption of not getting tipped, then… you will not get tipped. one specific employee would not stop rolling her eyes and talking about my friends and i the one hour of being here. they took at least 15 minutes to get started on drinks and food, with no one else being there, continually ignored us after calling multiple times for condiments, rudely tossed the checks onto the table as soon as we got our food. and not to mention them speaking badly about us to other customers. poor service!!!!!

They have horrible customer service late night. Definitely would’ve had a better tip if they were nicer. Can’t expect to get a good tip when you’re mean from the jump. As soon as we walked in, this one specific worker was rude. 11/19, 3:15am. I understand working late night, but don’t expect people to be good to you if you’re not good to them.

This an update to my last post 📫 the last time me and my wife were there we had a rude waiter who after I explained my entire order to him he proceeded to be rude and not take my order entirely and just walk away from us but not before saying that taking orders wasn't his job trust me when I say your better off not coming here.

I was in Raleigh over the weekend for a concert and ordered take out online from this location. You are forced to pay ahead of time so I did and when I arrived at this location no one was on site, the doors were locked and lights off... the location was closed. I have tried calling and e-mailing to get my money back and a recording answers and does not allow the call through. Also no one has responded to my e-mails. YOU know you were closed - also I received a notication 2 hours later stating my order was complete and available for pick up, are you kidding? When employees arrived Sunday morning and saw my ticket and that I obviously never received the food my card should have been refunded immedeatly. This is unacceptable. I had a terrible waitress. She got our order wrong. Brought my waffle out ten minutes before I got the rest of my food. Didn't bring me coffee after she said she was making a fresh pot. She did take some to the table next to mine. She added things to my bill that we didn't order. Then tried arguing with us about the charges. Even though the food was good as I know the Waffle House food to be. Being served by someone that doesn't want to be at work. Or just don't care. Can make the meal less appetizing. I did let the manager know of our dissatisfaction.

At 1:20pm I was denied placing a take out order and referred to a sign informing take out orders aren't taken inside between midnight and 630a on Saturdays. When questioned about the sign and my order not being taken no one out of 7 employees 2 sitting down acknowledged me nor my question, including the manager AJ. This is not the first incident at this location 2426 Westinghouse Raleigh NC.. The low quality staff and rude behavior is indicativeof the service level for this location.

THE WORST! Servers don't know what comes with stuff on their own menus. Charged us for add ons to hash browns but didn't offer to tell the cook until I asked if they were being made right. Too busy worried about gossiping with a male coworker who was only worried about telling her to make sure we pay before the cook would make the food. Worst waffle house I've ever been too!
