I'm not going to leave a negative response,. But if the owner wants a friend to leave say so and why. Maybe it's not what you think and you're penalizing innocent loyal people. I will not be a part of your bartender's charade wanting the seats for her friends.

Went for lunch with my wife. She had the club sandwich on rye bread with chips. She loved the sandwich, it was huge, the chips seemed a little old. My fish was ok but very crispy. Our server John was excellent made sure we had all we needed. Overall it’s hit or miss here.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly you could definitely hear all the kids in the restaurant.

A lovely place to make memories with friends. The food was great, the wine selection was excellent, and the live music (Mary Selvidge) was the best part of the evening.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch with Jess as our waitress on 1/19/25. She was courteous, professional and friendly as were the hostesses as soon as we entered the door. Avocado toast w/egg was delicious.

Wakefield Tavern has delicious food and superb service. This is our place of choice anytime we invite friends and family for a dinner out! We love this place!!!!!!!
Great food and atmosphere! Good spot to watch the Commanders game on a Sunday and the bartender is knowledgeable and friendly!
