I thought the food was good. The reason for the bad review is that employees were rude to me. I don’t like a bunch of sauces on my burgers like a lot of people and I don’t like to be felt insecure about it. So when I ordered my burger with no condiments I was not happy that the employees laughed and looked at me with puzzled expressions. I was then chuckled at again for my choices after picking up the food. Those type of experiences make me not want to go back to a place and instead would settle for a McDonald’s burger as they don’t make me feel insecure about my choices. If you have special burger requests think twice before going to this location.

Wayback Burgers is one of the best places to stop and eat, the food is hot and fresh service was great clean place atmosphere was good, and the prices are great. Best burger we have had in a long time.

The husband and I stopped in during a trip to Raleigh. We both got a made to order single burger, the flavor was pretty good. He got onion rings and I got fries. The only negatives we have to say is that the onion rings were really thick/large slices of onion and the ranch dipping sauce tasted funny. Otherwise, we will likely visit again!

Get the cheesyburger! Just the best of both a grilled cheese and a burger. I like my bun extra toasted. Hot fries are a must. They will usually hook you up with hot ones. Wish there were more soft drinks options.

My friend and I ate here for the first time today. The burger was fine, but the onion rings and tater tots tasted like grease it is clear they need to change the grease and I am surprised they would serve onion rings that looked like that. There is no need for me to go back when there are other options closer to home

Love this places burgers! Not a fan of the fries. There new chicken wraps look nothing like they do on the website. They are just about same size as a McDonald’s breakfast burrito and Taco Bell cheese roll up, criminally overpriced. Other than that, burgers and chicken sandwiches are awesome
Not sure who runs this franchise, but I made a takeout order for a double cheeseburger box (double cheeseburger topped with American cheese, lettuce & tomato and a choice of Tater Tots or French Fries), waited 20 extra minutes, only to discover a burger with just meat and cheese. Was on my lunch break so I couldn't wait for another order, so I contacted the location and was told the lettuce and tomato are only added to the burger upon request... have never heard of this. Was rushed off the phone with no resolution. $13 for bread, two patties and cheese.

Old school feel, with modern amenities. The service was quick and pleasant. I had the double bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink. Everything is made to order, and everything was absolutely delicious! That was probably one of the best burger centric meals I have ever had!! I can't recommend this place enough!!
