Line dancing was fun, the instructor was super helpful. But the service was non-existent. I stood at the bar and stared at a girl while she cut limes instead of helping me. She eventually asked "are you all set?" How would I be "all set" when you haven't served me at all?

This place is so unprofessional, my two friends got kicked out after an altercation with one of the bartenders. My friends ordered 2 drinks, one a piece and the bartender brought them 3, after telling the bartender they did not want the third drink, bartender took the can back, started tossing it around, getting rude and rolling her eyes at my friends all because they simply said they did not order it. My friend had asked her why she had an attitude and the bartender got defensive and called security over, they did not give my friend a chance to explain her side of the story and simply said “it doesn’t matter, you two gotta go” after the fact they just paid $20 for two drinks and didn’t even get a sip of anything and did not get their money back. The security snatched the drinks out of their hands after escorting them outside and told them to leave once again. My friends were not in the wrong in this situation as I witnessed the entire thing, just a very unprofessional place, they do not care about their customers. They are simply just there to get a check, spend your money elsewhere these people suck. PSA if you do not like your job or do not like dealing with customers, then get a different job, ridiculous.

Looks like whiskey rose already received a couple poor reviews from Halloween weekend, consider this another. Doesn’t seem like any attempt is made to keep up with the restrooms throughout the night (mens and ladies) as far as TP, paper towels and soap go. Hardly any country music is played here which strikes me as odd for a COUNTRY BAR… Broken glass, bottles, and napkins cover every square inch of the floor, to the point that they become a tripping hazard. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

This place is a block off Glenwood South so it has a chill vibe. It has a two-level outside seating area with lots of seating including tables & couches. We were with a pub crawl so there were lots of folks. There was music inside which we could hear outside. The staff was attentive & friendly.
Parking: It's downtown Raleigh, assume it's bad. We got there mid-afternoon so we got a street spot several blocks off Glenwood. Later it might be best to do one of the paid lots, many are app/QR-code pay & not cheap.
