This place is super cool. It’s a super fancy place. They let a couple of degenerates like us come in and have some cocktails. We had their famous old-fashioned and didn’t regret it. All the wild turkey stuff was awesome plus some of the historic stuff they have in there is crazy.

I've heard a lot about The Wild Turkey Lounge, so when friends were in town, we visited. It was OK, but it didn't live up to the hype for us.

The Angus Barn has been around as long as I can remember, and I am a Raleigh, N.C. native.
This is the upstairs bar for those not acquainted.
I had the Steak sandwich, my wife the Double hamburger.
Both were excellent! Cooked to perfection.

Top notch! One of the best restaurants we've eaten at, EVER. Danielle waited on us and she was amazing. We could not have asked for better service. She made our visit amazing. Thank you Van, we will visit again.
Kid-friendliness: Angus Barn is very kid-friendly. Also, there's a treasure chest on the way out.

Great staff, great food and service was excellent
I enjoyed everything about this place: ambience, service, and food. The seafood tower was fresh and the Chateaubriand was just right.
Love this place. We usually go in when they open at 3:00 p.m. daily and sit at the bar. We usually order a couple appetizers and a drink or two then go to the country store and pick up some ground tenderloin beef and their fine cheese. It's an excellent experience and well worth it, not inexpensive.

We went to the turkey lounge upstairs before our dinner service a lil after 5. We sat at the bar to get drinks before we were going to be seated downstairs. The bar tenders service, I would give a one star because they gave a one ounce pour to my brother in law when he asked for a single pour. A normal single pour is 2 ounces. It would be one thing if he clarified that is Agnus barn serving size but the bartender just argued with him about it. I told both bartenders I didn't like whiskey and the older one laughed at me and told me about different drinks when I just wanted a different liquor for Higgins Royal punch. They seemed hesitant to change the liquor for me then the younger bartender said he would make it for me w a different liquor. He gave it to me and I could drink it and it was ok..after he asked me if I liked I said uh mmm sure..but he did laugh at me after cuz he said he diluted the whisky. That was the only drink I got there since they were not accommodating and I didn't complain at the time. I honestly should have but I was looking more forward to the food. I hope if we go back to the bar that your bartenders are nicer and more accommodating rather than giving me a suboptimal drink w/ diluted alcohol. The food and atmosphere are always amazing.

Amazing steak sandwich! Be aware, the lounge is so popular most nights there is a wait to get in.
Dietary restrictions: They have a separate kitchen that takes care of dishes, if you have a severe allergy.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, crayons and a little toy chest.

The food was excellent ! The steaks were cooked perfectly, the sides were all flavorful and cooked just right. Everything was hot when it came to the table, YAY! The staff was friendly, accommodating and efficient. The atmosphere was unreal. We need to go back for the great food or just to look at the many rooms full of artifacts! Everybody needs to go at least once to experience this place! Best food, Best experience in Raleigh!
Christmas decorations were overwhelmingly beautiful. They create a night to remember from outdoor Christmas trees and ginger bread cookies, Menu is varied and interesting. Service is four star and food is delicious. Prices are high but portions are take home size. What a night to remember, it was priceless.
Christmas decorations alone are worth the drive, staff was great. For the price, our meals were generous in volume but average in terms of taste and texture.
I can't review everything. I have family in from out of town and wanted to bring them here. I knew we couldn't get dinner reservations in the main dining but thought we could go to the Turkey Lounge. Website said they opened at 3. We showed up at 3 and were 34 on the waiting list because they actually opened at 2 not 3. We waited til 4:30 and still #18. Unacceptable. Website should be updated, even for the holidays, as the hostess told us, for a 5 star restaurant. Again Unacceptable.
