Not open sadly, Google said it was open at 12 pm Saturday đ
Good drinks. Comfy seating downstairs. Good space for live bands.
Wolfe & Porter sets a real high standard for cocktail bars! We loved the unique NC-focused literary theme from decor to even how the checks are given in books from the namesake authors. It's clear they put a substantial amount of money into renovating the space, and the result is really nice.
The two floors are noticeably different depending on what you're in the mood for, slight tweaks to each menu on each, and there are real nice (surprisingly large) outdoor spaces in both front and back. Also appreciated that there weren't TVs all over the place (more than enough sports bars around if that's what you're after), just a one or two here or there, and pull down projectors in the basement if needed (such as march madness this weekend).
The three drinks we got were really good, and so many sounded good, which was nice vs some places where only a few are appealing. Only suggestion we would have is adding outlets downstairs along the wall as it feels like a nice place to go in the afternoon or evening to get some work done during the week. We'll definitely be back regardless!
Immaculate vibes on both floors, and the outdoor patio. Jacob is by far the best bar tender working atm!!
Amazing time with Brooks greatest bartender ever!
Can't wait to check out the first floor lounge
Atmosphere is delightful, bartender is so nice, and their cocktails are complex, thoughtfully prepared and delicious!
Last night was the first time I stepped into W&P. As soon as I walked through the door I thoughtâŠâwhat is this place and why havenât I heard this before?!â. I looked around for my friends on the first level and couldnât find them, then realized, âwait, thereâs a downstairs?â. Walking downstairs it opened up to this cozy, eclectic, 70âs vibe lounge - think Mike Brady (The Brady Bunch) had a hidden bourbon/whiskey bar. The whole place pleasantly sucked me in. Joshua is a savant behind the bar when it comes to drinksâŠand his music choice was on point. Thank you W&P.
Friendly staffed, prompt service great craft beer I recommend for a meeting with friends or a quick business interview.

Always have a great time here! All bartenders - Yang, Kristin, Joel, and Jacob - are extremely professional. An inviting atmosphere, especially downstairs at the cocktail bar!

This is one of the best bars and music venues in the Triangle area! It has two unique bar areas PLUS a large deck and outdoor seating area. We danced all night last night when Crush was playing!
Decor with character, great cocktails, and better beer.
