Wolfe & Porter is a welcoming, one-of-a-kind bar with so much to offer. It’s incredibly versatile for larger groups and all kinds of events, with a huge back patio and outdoor stage for live shows. There’s always something fun happening—from dog adoption events and a monthly vintage market to weekly trivia, karaoke, and even daily hot dog specials. The bartenders are hilarious, talented, and genuinely personable, which makes every visit feel special.
What really sets this place apart is the sense of community. Wolfe & Porter embraces its own eccentric identity and doesn’t try to fit into the trendy bar scene—everyone is welcome here, and that’s something you don’t find much anymore. Highly recommend checking it out!

We hosted our holiday party here, and it was a fantastic experience! With 62 guests, the space was just the right size—cozy enough for everyone to mingle and enjoy cocktails comfortably. The staff was wonderful and made sure were well cared for! We are already looking forward to coming back!

Quaint little cocktail bar in an area of West Raleigh I don't frequent much! It can be easy to miss if you aren't keeping an eye out.
We came here for their Christmas pop-up; 8 cocktails for the Christmas menu, not including their wine options. They were all delicious! I recommend the Polar Pear :)
The bartender was friendly, and made sure to serve everyone to the best of his ability. Not overly crowded which was nice. Proper ambient lighting as well.

We held a private event at the Wolfe and Porter Cellar/Outdoor Patio. It was fantastic. Event staff (Aubrey) and bartenders were terrific to work with. I got many compliments on the indoor space and blending that with the outdoor (great spot for our DJ) firepit allowed lots of flow and fun for all guests. We partnered with Gussies for dinner and received a discount - everything was ready when we showed up. They created five custom cocktails and the bartenders were talented and nice - you don’t always get that downtown. Highly recommend.

Jess is the “bees’ knees!” She pours a drink like a 1940s commander! Every time I come here the atmosphere is magical, between trivia and karaoke you can’t decide how much fun to have. If I had anymore fun I’d be in a post-war toy shop. You come here to re-live good times and make new (or recovered) memories. The last time I had this much fun we were finding out about appliances!

Wolfe and Porter is the place to go! I haven’t been to a bar since my husband came from the Cold War. The Berlin Wall didn’t have anything on the separation between other Raleigh bars and this one. The staff here is so friendly and kind. Jess, or Jesse, however, was one of the best barkeeps I’ve ever had. My husband may have lost his mind in the war, but we found it here!

Wolfe and Porter recently hosted a market for local vintage vendors. I really appreciated the clear load-in directions, confirmation emails, and on-site hospitality. The drinks were delicious, the outside patio was great for my dog, and I’m looking forward to future markets at this venue!
