This is the best and most authentic Mediterranean food I’ve had in the U.S. and one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I spent several years living in various middle eastern countries. I’ve tried dozens of restaurants in Raleigh and other parts of the country. Many were very good; none were truly authentic. Yaba is exceptional. The shawarma and hummus are amazing. The falafel is the best I’ve ever had. And the service is great—friendly and personal. You haven’t tried real Mediterranean food if you haven’t been to Yaba.

The experience was a letdown. The young dark-haired male cashier was noticeably rude and completely unprofessional, leaving a terrible impression of the entire company. It’s a shame they don’t employ better, more capable staff.

This place was good at one time, but something happened. The last and final time I ate here, the food was VERY dry and the service was lackluster.

Really nice staff. Was disappointed in the meal, however. Spent $40 just because I wanted to try all the favorites. Was there as soon as they opened. Grape leaves were slimy mush, almost like pudding. Chicken was overcooked. Pistachio baklava was the worst I’ve ever had. It was just a pastry soaked with a super sugary liquid and a sour aftertaste. Mint lemonade was Kool-Aid with a ton of sugar. Rice was subpar, also. They only have yellow rice. Hope to try again one day. Maybe it’ll be better around dinner time.

While I have no ties what so ever to Yaba Mediteranian Grill I wish I did! These guys have got mediteranian food down to a science and the portions are huge.

The gyros are absolutely delicious!

And OMG you've gotta try the Baklavah which is a flaky pastry that's absolutely delicious

One of the best mediterranean bowls I had here, so good and tasty, fries, falafels are so crispy and amazing. Yellow rice tasted delicious, price is very reasonable. Definitely recommended !!

The food was disgusting. I got the shawarma plate and the meat was overcooked, fatty, chewy and not as hot as it should be - in fact, some pieces were cold. They served the food in a red tray with paper lining the bottom with wet rice on top so the rice soaked through and tore the paper. Everything, including the ketchup, tasted off - like they closed the day prior and just left all the food out until they opened the next day.
The bathroom was gross and the restaurant in general did not feel was maintained well.
I would never come back here and I regret giving them any money.

This restaurant is truly exceptional. The two young men who run it greet you with warm smiles and a friendly hello, setting the tone for an incredible dining experience. The food is absolutely amazing, and you can tell its quality from the moment you walk in, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere they create. I’ve enjoyed it so much that I’ve made the trip back several times, even though it’s an hour from my home. Their genuine hospitality and the delicious meals make it well worth the journey every time.

Parking: Same parking lot as Sprouts.

Kid-friendliness: They have a wonderful children's menu. My littles love the chicken nuggets and French fries.
