This is the best and most authentic Mediterranean food I’ve had in the U.S. and one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I spent several years living in various middle eastern countries. The experience was a letdown. The young dark-haired male cashier was noticeably rude and completely unprofessional, leaving a terrible impression of the entire company. It’s a shame they don’t employ better, more capable staff.
Really nice staff. Was disappointed in the meal, however. Spent $40 just because I wanted to try all the favorites. Was there as soon as they opened. Grape leaves were slimy mush, almost like pudding. Chicken was overcooked. Pistachio baklava was the worst I’ve ever had. It was just a pastry soaked with a super sugary liquid and a sour aftertaste. Mint lemonade was Kool-Aid with a ton of sugar. Rice was subpar, also. They only have yellow rice. Hope to try again one day. Maybe...
