But it’s no longer worth spending the money when I’m hungry NOW not 2+ hours later. The customer service has gone down hill and that is why I won’t be returning.These people just made me run up a CHECK on this good food! Mac an cheese is LITThey need to post buisness hours and i guarantee theyll get my money every time.Friendly guy who does phone orderes, even talked to my 2yr old.So full of FLAVOR!!!Heres the review after eating the food:I was so very impressed lifelong customer from this day forward. Incredible food and if you wanna throw away some money THIS is how you do it.

Food looked really good online Unfortunately I never got to try it because I drove 20 mins to their location and they are curbside only so when I call to place my order nobody answered the phone!!! The open sign was on AND the parking lot was empty and there was no "gone for lunch" sign I called 3x in the span of 15mins then went 5 mins down the road to Short sugar another bbq place because they DID answer the phone. Then I received a phone call back from fat macs 35 mins LATER....AS IF I WOULDN'T HAVE GONE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!! If you say you are going be open....be open...Tighten up!!!

Fat Mac's BBQ was fantastic! I happened upon them when the original restaurant we had intended on going to was closed, and I'm so glad we found Fat Mac's. The gentleman who came to take my order at the car was so friendly, kind and considerate because I was having trouble trying to view the menu online to order. The food was phenomenal, generous portions and packed with care. I would highly recommend this restaurant for BBQ, sides and service!!!

Im from VA and I swear this is the best food I have ever had. The brisket was so tender and the fries are cooked perfectly. The mac and cheese was great too.

OMG...I truly wished I lived in the area. I had the brisket and my co-worker got the ribs. All was delicious! I will absolutely visit again when up this way.

Ridiculous. Their ribs, brisket, wings, mac and cheese, sweet corn.....just like Grams used to make. People have commented on wait times.... Who cares!!! I would stand in line all day for these tasty vittles! Real smoky bbq with perfect seasoning and outstanding homemade quality! I'm officially in love with Fat Macks North Carolina BBQ. You have to try their Brisket, better then Texas BBQ and I would never admit that. All our food was fresh and amazing. Home run y'all. We will be back!
OMG !!!! First timer. This was the BEST BBQ I have had since visiting friends in SC. Fat Mac HAS to be from the north. His BBQ is HEAVENLY and the mac and cheese is not the "cheese whiz" stuff you normally get in the south. Please, Please, Please patronize this establishment !! There have been so many restaurants tried in this location. This one is a KEEPER!!!!! Thank you Fat Mac, we will be back over and over again !! I don't care what these people have said about the "slowness" or "lack of service" Perfection CANNOT be rushed. It's the food that counts !! If you are reading this and want EXCELLENT BBQ, plan a little better ! You will NOT be disappointed !! Now, I need to get back to my BBQ !!!! YUMMY !!!!
