Stopped here with my Dad and we were delighted to have a quick lunch at this colorful shack. I heard it was recently repainted and it does stand out for sure. We both got carolina foot longs as the receipt said, but you do have an option to get a foot long or just a standard size. 2 foot longs for about $12.00 was very worth it. This was such a gem of a find during my trip to Reidsville. It was the perfect local joint to grab a hot dog and a treat. The outdoor patio was a wonderful place to enjoy the sun and my treats I'm definitely going to visit again before going home. I highly recommend Downtown Dog House to anyone who hasn't been

Proprietor gave me a taste of his homemade chili and sold me on his hot dogs…for me, chili makes a great dog! Economical: great interaction with owner-operator…it was too hot to eat under the sunbrellas outside so the car was my restaurant! It’s a walk up: to go only!
