Well I ate here about 20+ years ago and it still and always will be in my Top 10 places to eat period!! When the adorable waitress with her NC accent asked if I wanted slaw on my burger, I was surprised because being from California I'd never heard of that. So me being a food lover, I had to try it and it was delicious 😋 Sadly, I don't know if I'll ever visit there again, but this little place on the side of the road in NC will forever live happily in my mind. Mama’s Kitchen at Huffman Vineyards is the kind of spot you try once and then plan your weekends around. Open Fridays and Saturdays from 11–8, they serve up tender pulled pork, fresh seafood, and sides that taste like they came straight from Mama’s kitchen (because it did!). Can’t pick just one thing? Go for a combo plate. Weekly specials keep it fresh, and every now and then there’s even a surprise dessert. With indoor and outdoor seating, it’s the perfect place to relax, eat well, and soak in the vineyard views.

Phenomenal food selection and amazing tasty treats. The portions are excellent for the price. The teriyaki tacos are out of this world. Just can't find that quality anywhere else. I have, and will continue to recommend Mama's kitchen to all my friends and family.

The best fresh and local seafood and pulled pork bbq around! Mama knows what she's doing in the kitchen! Sides are wonderful too! All made to order whether dining in or getting it to go! Lots of outside and inside seating available. Great wines whether you enjoy dry, semi or sweet! Relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend trying it out!
