Food very expensive,and not worth the money. I can go to Logan's steak house and eat for almost the same and get more food for the money. And alot better. Sorry Davids

The hubby and I have been twice in a few years. Not on the top of our places to eat. Pricey menu. We ate from the Buffett. It was okay. Lots of people really enjoy this place. It's just not for me. Bathroom is tiny. Some of the staff not very friendly at all. More for the older crowd after church go there. Environment is cute and laid back. Not bad just not for me.

The atmosphere is homey and interestingly eclectic. The food was fresh and we'll prepared. The oysters were phenomenal.

My fiance and I are from Pennsylvania, but we are here temporarily for his job. Today was my birthday and he surprised me with going here. He knew nothing other than reading the reviews and decided it was worth checking out. When we got there we were 1 of 3 tables and nice music was playing. We were seated and recieved our drinks in 2 minutes tops. I ordered the fettuccini alfredo with chicken and per my request they made it cajun chicken and my fiance ordered the filet with a baked potatoe. Salads came out very fast and we both loved the ranch dressing. We had a slight doubt of the place based off of some of the other reviews, but they were shut out when we tried our meals. I loved the chicken fettuccine so much! He loved his filet also, cooked perfectly. Our server was very friendly also. It is on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for! Very nice.

We went there for our Anniversary. First time there for both of us!! Food was delicious!!!! Would definitely like to go back!!!! She crab soup was excellent. Salad dressings were home made/freshly made and were delicious!!! A Very classy place to dine in Roanoke Rapids NC!!!!!!

Small portions, but food was very good. Service was ok.

The atmosphere was extremely pleasant. Cozy, not to loud. The waitress did not interrupt and showed up when needed. There was a pianist/ singer playing music softly in the background. The food was spectacular. The best Flounder I've ever eaten.

My boyfriend and I decided to try something different. We ended up at David's restaurant and I'm glad we went there. The food was very delicious. The people that worked there were very polite and friendly. We will definitely go back again.

Made a reservation for 8 a month ago for Sunday Brunch. Even asked for a specific table. When we arrived the table I requested was already in use. There was no table ready for us. We had to stand there with 2 small children and wait. Had to ask for silverware and napkins. The buffet was sad looking and they told us they would not be replenishing it. Food was cold and a lot of it old and stale. Would never go back. This was a family holiday get together with family from out of town. I was embarrassed and disappointed.

David(the owner) is very personable. He might visit your table, and see how you are doing. Not because it's a restaurant, but because he cares. The food is delicious, and everything is cooked from scratch. I highly recommend his chocolate chess pie!

I was expecting a lot and was really really looking forward...dark slow service ...all that I could chuck up to not my style..but the food ugh mediocre all best I was very disappointed.
