The staff here were very kind and welcoming, and I always want to support small local businesses. Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet expectations. We ordered two grilled chicken sandwiches, and I actually heard them heating the chicken in the microwave. It came out tough and rubbery, and was served on a store bought loaf of bread (I ordered my sandwich on wheat). For $26, it really wasn’t worth it. I hope they can make some improvements, because the people running it were great.

Terrible. Been twice. Forgot I had been until I ate their last week. Breakfast: Grits, cheese, sausage. bacon bowl H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E!
The grits taste like defrosted instant grits that were never cooked before being frozen and then the other condiments dumped on top, at room.tempture or cold. It had the taste texture of what I could only image would be the equivalent of eating a drop down ceiling panel if it was first soaked in water and allowed to sun dry and began decay and flake. I tool one bit and spat it out, paid and we left. Just dreadful. The waitress/cashier was pleasant. I may never eat grits again.

You don’t often find service this thoughtful.

While, they're pastries, are really good, they're very limited In what they serve. they are very pricey for what they offer.

Chili was excellent and roast beef sandwich was also very good. We were impressed with how this Cafe got started by a retired teacher who provided jobs to challenged adults. It obviously plays an important role in this community.

Awesome food & coffee at a great value! Staff was amazing, great story behind it & wonderful owner, whom we got to speak with while we were there. Definitely check it out!

Wonderful local eatery! The atmosphere is a nice little clean space with plenty of seats, the people at the front were very good and courteous, and the food: I ordered a breakfast burrito and a hot chocolate. The breakfast burrito has got to be one of the best I've ever tasted, perfect balance of the toppings, none too strong and it was pressed, and the hot cocoa was packed with whipped cream and just the perfect amount of sweet! It's all a good price as well. I recommend this place to anyone traveling through or a local resident!
