“I visited this establishment during my visit for a family reunion and it was like stepping back in time. The town is very much old, but it's okay. The inside, definitely needs to be updated, but this is coming from an out of towner. I ordered the grilled chicken salad to go with ranch abd when I tell you, I was in heaven....I WAS IN HEAVEN. I'm normally not a fan of iceberg lettuce, but the combination with that, the fresh grilled chicken, red onion, olblack olives, cucumbers, and shredded cheese with the ranch (not sure the vendor) made me fall in love I should have gotten a large because the small wasn't enough, but I was new to the restaurant and wasn't sure on how it would taste.“

“My suggestion is you choose to eat here is to order take out and eat it at home. The reason being, you can order whatever you like and it will be cooked fresh and hot when you get it. The buffet is ok but it's limited in choice and usually has been sitting out for a while.“

“In the middle of a snow storm on our trip to NC, every other restaurant had closed early. This group stayed open and we just made it. It didn't matter that it was 2 minutes before closing, they let us order, even appetizers! They were so friendly, the staff, the manager, etc. The food was what you would expect from Applebees. But we truly appreciate you taking us in that day and not turning us way.“

“when we come to NC we always eat here for lunch. I was very disappointed yesterday, they didn't have tartar sauce, no crab cakes, no chicken livers, no barbeque, it was numerous things they were out of. The coleslaw was old and the hushpuppies was cold and dry. I wonder what they had going on yesterday, that was my first worst experience, maybe the truck hadn't came in. I'm going to try again in a couple more weeks, hopefully they will be back on point, other than that my food was hot and on point, throw away the coleslaw.“
