I called to order a cake over the phone and asked questions about the cake and the person the bakery had so much to say as if I was not purchasing the cake, it was not being donated. Good Customer Service is really getting to be a thing of the past in Roanoke Rapids.

Its a SuperCenter, but not set up like all others in FL, NC,Tn, GA - strange i have to hunt for things but at least its clean & well stocked i prefer the one im Charlottesville as its set up the same way as others i went to.

I don't like wal-marts atmosphere. It hard to get help and the employees don't know many of the products. You wait in line at the self checkout because there is not enough employees to help you. So you wait in line to help yourself. Not a big fan of that concept. With all that being said it's not the worst Wal-Mart around.

They are Customer friendly and have everything that you need and good quality of stuff and I like their seafood department and they Bakery makes sure everything is fresh because I went two 2 other Walmarts and the Bakery had stale product

Saw this WalMart on my way down I-95 and made a mental note to stop in to get Cheerwine. I guess this part of Eastern NC isn't big on it because I couldn't find it anywhere....Except here! Got two 12-packs and a Carolina T-shirt ($8.47). The total cost of $18 and change. Could have gotten an ECU shirt for $3 on clearance but it was 3X and I'm not that big. Should have gotten it anyway. Oh well. Glad I came here. Now I know where I can stop in the future. Exit 172.

Just like any other Wal Mart in terms of busyness. They have a burger king at the front. They sell everything from clothes to electronics. The building is located next to a bunch of other shops and restaurants so if you do not find what you are looking for here there are a bunch of other options. Its right off the highway so its a good quick stop for any snacks or other things you may have forgotten on your road trip.
