My friends and I drove around awhile trying to find an opened location, after calling the number provided on the website Karen answered and said she would come open up the shop that was closed to service us since we had been driving around. She was SO sweet. Excellent service and the ice was delicious :,) Thank you for your kindness Karen!
Lots if ample parking by I-95 Sweeps. This spot is the sweetest with an abundant amount of flavors and Lemar flavor mix combos for the daring at heart or the simplest flavors. The service was friendly and sweet. The pricing is reasonable and the rate is just the best! Take a seat at the bench under the awning or at the benches.

It's an Italian ice and ice cream stand and it's as basic as you'll get. Plus it was so hot, my ice cream was melting before I got in the car. Great flavors for the Italian ice but limited ice cream selection. I chose the peanut butter brownie ice cream, and I absolutely loved it. We also had Pina Colada Gelato and it was a winner, too. If you find yourself near Roanoke rapids, stop by and give them a try.
