We love to stay here in the Fall. It is in the middle of the Smokey Mountains - the color is always incredible. The facility is beautiful. You have a choice between lodge rooms or cabins, which are surrounded by trees. This is a beautiful place.
My husband & I stayed 4 nights at Tapoco Lodge (March 13-16) for his birthday. We are from Murphy NC but wanted a quiet, relaxing place to unwind and we found it!! We stayed in a cabin. It was perfect & the porch overlooked the Cheoah River. The sound of the river was so peaceful, just what we wanted. As locals we frequent here often. The food is consistently good. The atmosphere and location are great. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Also, they allow dogs on the patio!
