“My daughter’s college soccer team ate there last Friday. 32 ladies plus coaches bus driver and a mom and dad. They took care of us and the food was great. Homemade desserts and they helped us celebrate an impromptu birthday. Great place to have an event they have a room separate from main dinning.

Parking: I would say you can park 12 cars within 50ft of the bldg

“Terrific Chinese food, especially for a somewhat remote location. Haven't had anything there that I didn't like. Recent purchases were beef lo mein, shrimp fried rice and sweet and sour chicken with egg rolls. Delicious, right out of the bag as well as reheated! Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. I'm more than happy that I don't have to drive into Greenville for good Chinese food!”

“The person on the drive thru box has trouble hearing us. But she was very friendly. Some parts of the exterior needs repair but the interior looked nice and clean. Fries were a bit overdone. But amazing biscuit and delicious tea.”

“Deadwood in Bear Grass, NC is truly a hidden gem in Martin County. If you’re not local, you might drive right past it and never know what’s tucked away there. I remember hearing about it years ago but had never visited. A friend hosted an event there a couple of years ago, and I was amazed at how beautifully it was decorated—this was right after Christmas, and the holiday décor was still up and absolutely stunning.

When I returned again recently, I noticed even more details that make this place special. From the outside, it leaves you curious, but once you cross the little wooden bridge, it opens into a space that really leaves you in awe. There’s a train you can ride, charming outdoor seating areas, lights and decorations throughout, and a peaceful little pond that adds to the atmosphere. There’s also a cozy coffee bar and meeting space that’s perfect for brunch or small gatherings, along with the main restaurant that can accommodate groups of all sizes.

The salad bar is excellent with plenty of fresh options to choose from, and the food has been consistently delicious. The brisket and baked chicken are finger-licking good! This was actually my first time getting the brisket because it tends to sell out quickly—and now I understand why. Everything I’ve tried here has been great so far.

The wait staff are friendly, and the hostess at checkout is especially sweet. She keeps little candies at the front and encourages guests to grab a handful on their way out, which is such a simple but thoughtful touch.

It was a bit cool inside during my visit, but the fireplace adds a nice cozy feel. Overall, every experience I’ve had here has been pleasant, and I’ll definitely be back again. This is one of those special places you almost want to keep a secret—but it’s too good not to share.”

“We had an incredible lunch at La Casetta Italian Restaurant in Bethel, North Carolina! Everything from start to finish was absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch. We tried the meaty stromboli, baked spaghetti with meat sauce, eggplant rollatini, and the fried flounder with shrimp—every dish was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The stromboli was packed with savory meats and baked to a golden crisp, and the spaghetti had that comforting, homemade taste. The calamari was tender with a perfect crunch, and the flounder and shrimp were fresh and fried just right. To top it all off, we had both chocolate and classic cannolis for dessert—light, creamy, and the perfect sweet finish to a hearty meal. La Casetta is a true gem in Bethel. We'll definitely be back!”
