I've had the pleasure of dining here fpr over 10 years and the food is ALWAYS excellent, the service is top tier and the prices are affordable. El Tap has some of the best Mexican food I've experienced.

I had the BEST experience eating here while visiting town for a softball tournament. Great atmosphere, awesome service, and incredible food! I definitely recommend checking it out.

We had a wonderful lunch. Our party was over 20 people and the staff did great serving us. Food portions were excellent. Like the fresh salsa. Looking forward to returning.

The ambience of this place is really good. I started my meal with a fresh guacamole bowl, which is the real deal—absolutely delicious. For the main course, I ordered a mushroom quesadilla and a potato enchilada, with beans, guacamole, and pico de gallo on the side. Everything tasted great, with authentic flavors.
Highly recommend this place for a delightful dining experience.

I've ordered twice, and it's been wrong both times. The first time, I figured it was a bad phone connection and caught it before I left. The second time was in person.

Was not impressed when I ate here 10 years ago and am still not impressed… pricey and not worth it.
Frozen margarita & food was fair at best.
Don Juan in Roanoke Rapids is a much better choice if you’re willing to make the drive.

The service is excellent here. Probably the best guacamole and Mexican food I have had in NC so far. I love how they make the Guac at the table nice and fresh. I really liked the salsa as well.
