El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant

Margarita was good. Guacamole was authentic. But do NOT expect traditional chile rellenos. So disappointed as they were not even batter dipped and fried. I have never been served just a pepper with cheese on top. No coating. Service was great.

I've had the pleasure of dining here fpr over 10 years and the food is ALWAYS excellent, the service is top tier and the prices are affordable. El Tap has some of the best Mexican food I've experienced.

I had the BEST experience eating here while visiting town for a softball tournament. Great atmosphere, awesome service, and incredible food! I definitely recommend checking it out.

We had a wonderful lunch. Our party was over 20 people and the staff did great serving us. Food portions were excellent. Like the fresh salsa. Looking forward to returning.

The ambience of this place is really good. I started my meal with a fresh guacamole bowl, which is the real deal—absolutely delicious. For the main course, I ordered a mushroom quesadilla and a potato enchilada, with beans, guacamole, and pico de gallo on the side. Everything tasted great, with authentic flavors.
Highly recommend this place for a delightful dining experience.

We were driving from Orlando to Quebec and stopped the first night at Rocky Mount. Arriving in the area in time for dinner we chose El Tapatio, which was close to our hotel. From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed / greeted by every staff person walking by. It was Wednesday before July 4th and the restaurant was 3/4 full. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. My order was chicken enchiladas with a flavorful mole of green poblano peppers. A side of Spanish Rice accompanied. My beverage was 2 bottles of Dos Equis Ambar beer. My brother, with whom I dined, ordered Carne Asada, corn tortillas, rice. He could not stop eating, he liked it that much! His beverage was 2 large Margaritas. We had fun with the waitstaff, joking etc. There was a great vibe. Highly recommended. Indoor seating. Covered outdoor seating, too.
