Gardner's is famous in the region. Barbecue, chicken, and seafood are prominent on the buffer and menu. The fried chicken is excellent! I'm not the biggest fan of NC BBQ, but their's is moist and flavorful. The southern sides are also cooked to perfection.

The family stopped for lunch after a morning of shopping. Late lunch BBQ platters and sandwiches for everyone. The BBQ was good, nice vinegar and smoky flavor. I ordered the green beans and boiled potatoes, which the green beans were absolutely delicious. We did not get the buffet, but there appeared to be many choices. My wife ordered the pastry as a side and liked them as well. Everyone was very happy and the waitress was the best!!! Quick, friendly, clean table. I'll eat...
