Wonderful BBQ sandwich. Great barbecue flavor and super juicy without much of a vinegar sauce, which can be hard to do. I love a good ENC vinegar based sauce but this sandwich didn't need it! Such a nice natural BBQ pork taste. Cole slaw is absolutely a winner. I'll be continuing my BBQ sandwich tour across the east but will definitely stop here again.Sandwich rating 9.5/10

I think this region of eastern North Carolina doesn't get enough recognition about how we prepare our greens. It is the only place in America I've seen that prepares greens like this and it's always great to come home to taste. I also had the sweet potato jack and that was awesome.

Absolutely amazing service! We were ordering for 8 people on Mother's Day. We started to order online but we were told it would be a one hour wait before we could pick up our food. While we were ordering $80 worth of food, we felt like it shouldn't take that long to get it so we decided to just drive up there & order (we were right around the corner). Best decision!After placing our order w the sweet girl at the register, it only took 30 minutes ti get everything! Not only were the employees friendly & efficient, we saw the general manager back there working alongside her employees! I loved seeing this! I have worked with some managers in my years in food service that felt like they were about working on the line. It was a breath of fresh air to see this in their management team! She also spoke to us personally on our way out & made sure we didn't leave without our tea!Kudos to the general manager & her entire team!

There were lots of flies moving through the dining area as we waited for our order. We had purchased a "family meal" in the neighborhood of $45.00 and received what looked to be about $20.00 worth of food. Lastly, their coleslaw is yellow. We won't be back.
