buffet food and the setting here is above par. Arrived at five, it wasn't busy. I've had nothing but great experiences here and will keep coming back. The place has a nice atmosphere. I see why this place has a lot of great reviews.

I don’t normally have soul food out but GRANDSONS the food was Great! I would definitely recommend and come back again. The fried chicken was fresh and crispy, the fried flounder was fried just right and you can mistake it for whiting, the cabbage was seasoned right, the chopped bq had that smoked vinegary taste and the hush puppies was nice size and fresh! I’m sorry but I didn’t have any dessert. The staff was nice! If you’re in the area stop in because I did from NJ! Good Luck and Blessings to a successful Business!

When it is said the way to a man's heart is thru his stomach, but at Grandson's buffet in Rocky Mount NC you can see the reason why, this place is great, the entries are superb, all food items seems and taste like its all made from scratch, we tried almost everything and we couldn't do it, just too much and too good. The pics do not lie, we will come again and I invite you to go as well.

Went with a friend for lunch. There was a nice selection of food. Bread ad biscuits were not good. Not worth the calories.
Restaurant was nice and very good service. The food was just so-so. Nothing I tasted was great but they had a nice variety.

It is growing on me. I went to another location, I wont say where, and I had a horrible experience and said that is it for Grandsons. I'm not sure how I ended up going but I went one time and have been going ever since. I'm not one for buffet food because of the number of people that come in contact with your food but Grandsons has a system of putting out enough and once that is gone, they replace. If you want something specific they don't mind accommodating that. I like this location alot and I find myself stopping through when I'm in the area. Keep up the good work.

Awesome southern cooking! Our server Donna was exemplary. When we mentioned that we are from Michigan she had great suggestions for us and made a point to bring out fresh country sausage to try and it was awesome!
