I came here to do a little vibing. I didn't order food, but the chips and salsa were fresh. I had all 3 salsas (white sauce, Verde salsa, and the chip salsa)!. My server/bartender was great and very attentive. My drink was catchy ?. Was going to order Togo, but it wouldn't hold up on the commute, and I was riding with someone else. Next time, amigos

I have had such rotten luck lately with restaurants until we came here. The food was so freakin amazing and our server Manni was so delightful. The employees peroid were so wonderful. My daughter was all over the place just following Manni and his coworker around like a lost puppy. It was so cute how taken she was by these wonderful ppl. Highly recommend coming here and make sure to request Manni such a sweetheart.

Thought we were going to have a great night but we were wrong. Waiter was slow, didn't understand what we were ordering (a chicken enchilada) it came out with chicken and cheese and some funny red chunks with a very hard tortilla ? rice and beans tasted funky. Probably should have left since it took so long to get out food. Very slow service. Will not be back.

This was the first time that I have ever been to a Mexican restaurant or ate any authentic Mexican food. All I can say is that from the moment we walked in to the time we left was simply amazing. The food was phenomenal, hot and spiced to perfection. The staff was very attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed for our first time having Mexican food. And the prices were very reasonable as well. Don’t sleep on this one Rocky Mount if you’d like Mexican food, and now I am a Mexican food lover, you would definitely do well to give San Jose on Wesleyan Boulevard a try. I’ll be back!

I went to San Jose yesterday on my lunch and got steak , chicken , shrimp , rice with cheese, number one we had hair in our appetizer, waitress went back & brung out some more , RED FLAG ? & now I have food poisoning literally can not keep nothing down , I honestly never felt like this and all I ate yesterday was their food ?

El Paisano is the best thing I’ve encountered from San Jose. The T-Bone steak or the grilled chicken are both seasoned to perfection! The grilled shrimp, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and tomatoes with the cheese sauce sends it over the top! I always get double mashed potatoes because the potatoes are close enough to your grandma’s homemade mashed potatoes ?

Ordered off of ubereats, ordered beef chimichangas got dry chicken, with no toppings just rice. Caritas were dry and hard. Order arrived with spilled salsa. I'll go to the taco truck next
