Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q

Came in with a large group just as dinner was starting and they were on it. Food was great and they puzhed hard to give good service. Very friendly to! It hadn't been on my list of go-tos, but it sure is now! Thanks for a great experience!

This place was not very clean. Table was sticky and dirty. Fries were cold and not cooked all the way. When I asked for hot fries the manager on duty rolled her eyes like it was a bother. I like Smithfield Chicken but this place needs to do better.

What's happened to SCNB ? The staff is just ok .. wasn't that friendly , doesn't come to tables to pour tea anymore.. very slow service. The portions are very small now .. 32 fries per plate ..3 oz. BBQ .. even less slaw , on tiny white paper plates . My BBQ CHICKEN was tough as a nail . The prices are off the chart $43.00 for 3 adults and 1 child . No wonder they are closing stores . Wilson closed so now we had to go to Rocky Mt. store which used to be good . Store is clean , employees in clean uniforms , bathrooms clean , but food is way off . Corporate needs to help these franchise locations or they are going to disappear. Very Disappointed, probably last time going to SCNB until they return to a better value !

Love this place. Bbq sandwiches are great and the employees at this location are attentive and polite!

Been here a couple times passing through, love Smithfield’s and miss it after moving to Virginia. But this location is a mess, food on the floor and trash everywhere…I know Smithfield’s can do better!

The waitress behind the counter kept pulling her pants up and handling customers food. I asked for a combination plate and was rung up for a chicken plate only. When I went back up to get my BBQ that was left off they still wanted to charge me for there mistake. The chicken was so small but had so much bread batter on it. When you pull the batter off all you get is a piece of hardly nothing. This place has gone down hill. It like nobody cares anymore when it comes to what they put on your plate. You get what they give you to eat no matter how much it cost you. The food industry has got to do better, we are counting on you when we have to work 12 hour shifts and don't feel like cooking. Basically paid a lot of money for nothing. Left hungry.

I ordered through UBER EATS , this place is called Chicken & BBQ but they definitely will leave out your Chicken if you order $22.14 worth of food so I wouldn’t recommend go spend your money somewhere else. The rest of the food look good buts it’s cold like Refrigerator cold. My blind aunt could’ve had did me better than this smh . Thanks for the sides I guess. ✌🏾🚮

Oh goodness the chicken tender meal is over the top. Always freshly cooked, large ones, seasoned to the point, great customer satisfaction with attention to each meal served with a smile.

The beans were okay not the best the pork barbecue tastes like a Crock-Pot creation and the chicken was a bit dry

I had lunch here in early 2025 as a first time visitor to this chain of restaurants. I was traveling along I-95 between NJ and Savannah. I ordered the chicken barbecue sandwich and sides of coleslaw and beans. The sandwich was very good but it needed more barbecue sauce which I borrowed from my order of beans. The beans were best of all: hot, flavorful small beans in a red/ brown sauce. Excellent. The slaw was good, too. The interior of the restaurant is spacious, very attractive and clean. I like this restaurant and will return again, But I wish more barbecue sauce chouces were available on the tables or at a fixins table.
