Tasty Crab House - Rocky Mount

Had dinner here with my Husband and family; always priceless. Menu was a mix of certain seafood with an oriental touch, only neither had mastered seasonings. Very decent serving sizes but overpriced so sharing is a far better option. Nothing stellar for what they charge and I have eaten both types of foods in many towns at many establishments. Very busy, slightly cramped seating, not offered drink refills for $3.75 in 60 minutes is negligent and ridiculous. All-in-all, after driving 45 minutes to Rocky Mount and spending $125.00 for 3 adults & a child to try a new restaurant out, we're very disappointed. We could have spent this much for a delicious, not over-cooked nor under-seasomed seafood boil with enough for 4-6 grown ups. I do not recommend based on our experience.

Customer service was terrible. I will not spend another dime here. The manager is even worse I am going over his head he didnt care about my concerns of the customer service his staff has not one ounce if empathy

First time ever eating at this establishment. First thing through the door..it smelled like a bathroom (dodo). Getting our food was VERY slow and served COLD. Now, mind you, the dining area was not that full when we got there but when we left it was nearly full to capacity. So why did we wait sooo long for our food and why was it served cold 🤔😡. Placing Automatic air fresheners that emitt an ODOR FIGHTING mist every 2 minutes in the restrooms and BY the front entrance would be a great investment. I May give dining here another try but I seriously doubt it. Peace✌️& Blessings🙏

The seafood was good. The service was good for two ppl dining. It was a little loud in there due to a kids birthday party at the time, but I would recommend trying for you like seafood.

Visited this location on yesterday with our Youth Department; the service & food are usually great our reason for returning so often except this time. Our waitress was the best part of the visit. We decided to order water for our drinks ( the majority of us) and our group leader asked if she could get a large water instead of the small cup ( as she’s usually allowed to do so) and a different waitress refused. A third waitress who was sitting at the counter having nothing to do with the conversation decided to interject herself into the conversation as if she was going to make our group leader accept something she didn’t want, and begin to laugh as if it was all a joke. When someone is spending $100”s + in your establishment a larger size water is no much to ask for. The sad part is neither of these people were our waitress who was going to be the one that lost out. It was funny to the staff until they saw 30+ people get up to walk out. Then the laughter stopped. The young lady that was waiting on us was not the problem. Her coworkers & manager with their
Condescending attitudes towards us were. Our waitress would’ve received a 5star.

Went here last night with my husband for date night and this place was great! The seafood boil we had was amazing and affordable! Service was great. I ordered the crawfish, with potatos and hard boil eggs added on. My husband got the shrimp with 1/2 lb sausage, hard boil eggs, and potatos added on. It was a good portion. I recommend this place.

The food was wonderful it’s just there was more air in the bag than food i felt as if i really did not get my money worth maybe next time they will be considerate. There were also a lot of workers having irrelevant conversations and were really loud but that really had no thing to do with me for all i care but maybe next time a little more consideration
