Western Sizzlin Steakhouse

This place was a disappointment from the begging. You could tell they were trying but they just were not meeting any goals. They food was second, third rate at best. The service was ok but I have definitely had better. The atmosphere was not at all good it was dark (during the day) dusty and unwelcoming. My husband and I went and had our grandson with us. He wanted French fries, took us forever to get them. We will not be going back

Nasty food..Somebody can't cook... I read other reviews about the food I don't know what day they ate there but the day I ate there it was nasty I was disappointed first restaurant I ate at in N.C. and the food was that bad

Well I order a steak there it was tough and sweet potato I had to send it back was even hot.

I generally get the buffet. It has a wide range of choices, and the food is consistent. The bread is always excellent. Even with a long line, it moved quickly.

Cold ass food

My spouse, mother and I ate lunch at Western Sizzlin on Rocky Mount, NC today. Food was excellent. Only wish there had been larger chunks of broccoli in soup. Also e helpful to have signs identifing foods like the two different fish they had today. One was catfish and other White fish. I like White fish but not catfish. I hate wasting food but sadly tossed the catfish.

Fried chicken was better than our KFC. All the desserts we tried were all delicious. My favorite was peanut butter cookies and pineapple cake. My husband loved Cherry cobbler and banana pudding. My 81 year old mother preferred the cinnamon buns.

Friday lunch with senior citizen discount for buffet was $12.99 and drink was $2.99 plus tax per person.

Our waitress, Linda D , was awesome! We never once ran out of something to drink, plates etc. She was very observant. I realized after we left I forgot to leave her a tip. Sorry Lunda. Plan to mail it to her since we live in another town.
