Three of us went to Rocky Mount, NC Zaxby's for lunch. It was our first time visiting this location. The dining area was clean and well maintained.
The staff members were great. All of them were very friendly, helpful, and professional.
*Especially "Side Eye" and "Big Money" - 2 employees with great, positive attitudes!
Our food orders were correct, and we were served quickly. Each food item was well-prepared and delicious.
We're glad we stopped at this Zaxby's for lunch. We're looking forward to our next visit!

We love Zaxbys! If this had been my first time at one, I would never return to another one. The drive thru was super slow. The person on the microphone was very unprofessional! After waiting in line forever, we got our food, went to our hotel. Our kids chicken tenders meal, ended up being a grilled cheese. 6 piece plate tossed in sweet and spicy, ended up being plain with no sauce. The 4 piece tossed in sweet and spicy was right, but instead of double fries, we got 2 orders of Cole slaw. I have never had these issues at any other Zaxbys!

OMG!!it took 34 minutes in the drive through to get our food. They really need to get better. It should not take that long for fast food. I'll go to Nashville next time.

They did not put 1/2 our family meal in the bags at the window. We live 30 minutes away in Pinetops, had to drive back to get it, asked them to cook fresh food and THEY DID NOT!!! So after another hour round trip we had hard cold fries and cold chicken and spent over 62.00. They did not offer any discount or any service recovery and worse did not give us fresh food. Will not go back!!!!!!!!!!

Staff very pleasant. You take your life into your hands getting into the building from the parking lot through the double drive-thru line with no designated cross walk. I ordered the Signature sandwich combo. The fries that were fresh were good, but they had been mixed with a batch that had been sitting in the warmer, so inconsistent result. The chicken was the weirdest texture ever. Almost like it was fake. My first Zaxby's experience. 20 minutes later and the aftertaste still lingers. I won't be returning to any Zaxby's.

My visit to this location was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I came in expecting a decent lunch, but instead, I was met with one of the most revolting dining experiences I’ve ever had.
The moment I opened the Zax Sauce, I knew something was wrong. It was watery, separated, and had a sour stench that immediately made my stomach turn. To make matters worse, the burger I ordered was no better—it was barely warm, the bun was stale, and the meat tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The combination of the off-putting sauce and the poorly prepared burger was enough to make me push my plate away entirely.
When I approached the staff to report the issue, their response was as disappointing as the food. They brushed off my concerns like it didn’t matter and offered no solution—no apology, no replacement, nothing. Their attitude was dismissive and downright disrespectful.
The restaurant itself didn’t inspire any confidence either. Tables were sticky, trash was overflowing, and the whole place felt like cleanliness was the last thing on anyone’s mind.
This experience has left me with no desire to ever step foot in this establishment again. If you care about quality food, decent service, or even basic hygiene, avoid this place at all costs. It’s not worth the risk.

I had an absolutely horrible experience at this location that I feel compelled to warn others about. I ordered my meal expecting decent food and service, but instead, I was met with complete disappointment and disgust.
Both ranch packets I opened contained what can only be described as an unsanitary mess. The ranch had what appeared to be spoiled or contaminated portions inside, with chunks that looked completely off. The sight alone was enough to ruin my appetite. It was revolting and made me question the hygiene and quality control standards at this establishment.
To make matters worse, the staff didn’t seem to care when I brought this to their attention. There was no apology, no replacement, and no attempt to make it right. It’s clear Zaxby’s doesn’t value its customers or the quality of its food.
Save your time and money—this place isn’t worth the risk. I will not be returning and will make sure to share my experience with others to steer them clear of this disaster of a restaurant.

Went to the drive thru and ordered some funnel cakes for my family. The line was long and moving excruciatingly slow. Finally got to the front after 25 minutes to be told they were out of funnel cakes. After waiting almost half an hour. I should have asked for something else for free but I was so frustrated I just drove off. I would like a coupon or gift certificate at least for my trouble.
