Absolutely the worst Mexican food I have ever had. No flavor whatsoever, and the prices are out of this world expensive for it being a hole-in-the-wall dive. I cannot believe how awful it was. I am sure the owners are nice folks and all, but goodness it was bad. I love Mexican food. I love going to Mexico and having Mexican food. This was nowhere near any remotely close to being authentic Mexican. I wanted to like this place. I hated this place. The bill was $75 for four people who ate basic meals. They charged over $3 for a bottle of soda. The ONLY good part about this restaurant is the queso. It was decent. Other than that... nope. Fell well short of the mark. I guess that is what you get for trying to have Mexican food in Rocky Point, NC.

First time eating here. Ordered (2) supreme enchiladas meals and a steak quesadilla. Portion sizes small. Enchiladas and quesadilla didn't have much filling. Was it OK? Yeah...average. Would we eat here again? Probably not.

The Food is not edible! I just want everyone to know this is no longer Durango Taqueria! I was given a container of pig slop!! The salad was non existent in size, hot and wilted. The chicken quesadilla was a grocery store wrap with only cheese and cut in half! The Burrito was the same and was not even folded as a burrito. It was a half wrapped mystery meat in a grocery store wrap. To add insult to injury it was $10! If it was Free that would have been to high of a price! And they had the nerve to have “Authentic” on their window? My neighbor is Mexican, so I have eaten plenty Authentic Mexican food. I will never go back. I just wanted to give everyone fair warning. ⚠️ My dogs wouldn’t even eat it. It is only trash can worthy. I do not see this restaraunt making it, unless they hire a real Mexican Chef. It’s a shame.

Only complaint is portion size, food is good, customer service is good with nice atmosphere. Other resturants close by will give bigger portions. You can get a bigger bang for your buck elsewhere.
