Just wish they were open on Monday.. don’t like having to travel into Wilmington to go to Double Happiness ..oh well. Their food is great, self serve to side packets, ie soy sauce, hot mustard, orange sauce, fortune cookies..etc. I recommend.. open on Monday!
Food is consistently good! Chicken Wings are consistently cooked to the bone, juicy inside and crispy on the outside. Singapore chow mei fun is one of the best in the area, right amount of heat and not an abundance of noodles. Service is fast. Atmosphere is no frills, which is fine for me, it helps customers see the cleanliness.
Beef with garlic sauce is amazing. House special lo mein can probably feed an army. This place doesn't skimp and hot and fresh everytime. I Drive from wilmington on Sunday because the jade garden in castle hayne is closed on Sunday.

The chicken dishes are particularly praised for their delicious and moist quality, even when reheated. The egg rolls are also a highlight, with a crispy exterior and a filling that retains its texture. Customers appreciate that they can request extra crispiness on the chicken. The service is consistently friendly and accommodating, with orders prepared quickly. While the cleanliness of the dining area could use some improvement, the overall food quality and service make Jade Garden a favorite among local residents and workers. Many consider it the best Chinese restaurant in the vicinity, praising the freshness and attention to detail in the made-to-order dishes.
