We drove from Carolina Beach to Rocky Point on Labor Day just to enjoy the hotdogs and BBQ sandwiches. It was worth the drive the food and staff were fantastic. Truly world famous. Came back for Memorial Day weekend 2026 from Carolina Beach had the hotdogs they were fantastic and was worth the drive and gave us a good excuse to get away from the tourist smile 😁.
Come on what is there not to like at Paul's place? Whether it's out, sitting outside on the picnic tables and eating your lunch or inside where the magic happens. Paul's place is reminiscent of my childhood. I've been going there since I was younger and if you're from Wilmington you know Paul's place hot dogs. There's nothing like it nowhere around and they've been the same for at least 30 years I know of! Thanks Paul's place for great...
This place is not as out of the way as it seems. Right beside I-40. They serve some delicious hot dogs. I generally get mine with chilli, mustard, onion, and slaw. I got 2 dogs, fries, and a drink for less than $10 and it was very satisfying. Definitely will stop here again!
