Sign says “Open from Thursday to Sunday 4-9”. Went on Saturday at 430pm and it was closed. Not the first time, I guess they just open when they feel like it. Definitely not a place where you can make plans to go to.
Hours NOT accurate. Sign shows... Wed to Sun 4 to 9, we went at 616pm- ish. Not open. To bad.
Good vibes & a great time!
Me & my family went for karaoke night & it was a blast. Our only complaint was the owner of the bar. He was very rude to his employees getting in their faces & screaming at them. He also took a drink out of my cousin drink & thought it was the best thing ever. It was a very creepy situation. The owner was a huge issue not only to us but a lot of other customers. Neptune's Kitchen and Dive Bar is a recommended restaurant for those seeking a great dining experience. The restaurant stands out for its accommodating staff, who were able to cater to a large group, including someone temporarily handicapped. The service is prompt and attentive, with servers going the extra mile by providing additional requests like house-made ranch dressing.
The food at Neptune's Kitchen receives high praise, with huge portions and delicious flavors. The chicken sandwich, fish po'boy, shrimp, cheesesteak, burger, fish tacos, fried fish and chips, and crab legs are all standouts. The fish tacos are perfectly seasoned, and the fish and chips have breading that doesn’t overpower the fish. The hush puppies are also a hit, served with tasty honey butter, and the mussels are called the best on the east coast.
The ambiance is that of a lively dive bar, with karaoke on Thursdays and late-night partying. Howard, the owner, makes guests feel welcome. While pricing is a bit higher than expected, the portion sizes make up for it. The restaurant has plenty of parking, is kid-friendly, and wheelchair accessible.
Some note long wait times for drinks, but overall, Neptune's Kitchen and Dive Bar is a local favorite for a fun and delicious dining experience. A vacation isn’t complete without a trip here!
