My cousin, who was visiting from out of town, and I, were absolutely stunned at how beautiful the experience at Piccione was. The owners have carefully thought out every detail from the moment you walk into the venue, to having you stay enjoying the sweetest cup of iced coffee. We really enjoyed talking to Misty, who was so sweet, and knowledgeable in how she spoke of every wine she served up. Speaking to the owners was very enlightening and educating - we can’t wait to return! Cheers! 🍷

Beautiful vineyard. You can sit outside on the patio and see for miles. So comforting and relaxing here. Gaze at the mountain range, drink a glass of wine and forget your troubles. I highly recommend.

This location is absolutely stunning. The team is professional, kind, & inviting. I highly recommend to anyone just visiting or planning an event.

We had the pleasure of capturing an elopement there & I can’t say enough good things about the place. Wine was delicious & staff very knowledgeable.

If you are looking for a photographer or videographer please give us a shout, we’d love to come back!

Piccione is absolutely amazing!
After an awful experience with the rude staff at Raffaldini, someone suggested we try Piccione, just down the road. We’re so glad we did! Stephanie was incredible. After hearing our story, she immediately cleared a room for our large party and welcomed us with such kindness. The wine and coffee were both fantastic, the view is stunning, and we loved the live music on the deck. This is a wonderful, hidden gem vineyard that deserves a visit!

Amazing winery! My bridal party and I visited Piccione during my bachelorette weekend. We were able to find a place to sit inside and enjoy our wine flights. My favorite wines were the rose and the sparkling rose. I really enjoyed the other whites I tasted. Piccione is my favorite winery I visited during this weekend. The views are absolutely incredible and the staff is so kind!

Lovely winery. Stopped in while on the way to the mountains. We did a tasting and also got a pre-packaged snack. Lovely outdoor seating. Staff was helpful. Personally I really liked the Ovina wine the most.

You may come for the wine but you will stay for the view. Nestled in the gorgeous foothills of NC amongst many wineries however, Piccione has one of the best views of nearby mountains accompanied by numerous great wines. This venue is popular for weddings and other gatherings as the space is perfect for social functions.

The wines range from crispy Rose's to big and bold reds. There is definitely a wine for all. Prices range from about $28- $35 per bottle (on average for staple wines). The wine flight is actually a pretty heavy pour of four different wines from the theme (white's, big bold red's, etc.) that you choose.

The staff were all great and very helpful. Tables are first come, first serve and like many wineries in the area - food is a struggle. Piccione had a food truck out front, like most do, and some snacks for purchase inside.

Definitely worth adding to your Yadkin Valley Wine Tour route.

Five star experience yesterday at Piccione yesterday. The tasting room rivals those in Napa and the view from the terrace gave off Italian vibes. And the wine was top notch for a NC vineyard. We will definitely go back. And the food truck Evelyn’s was perfect — homemade meatballs! Can’t get better than that.
