We had a delicious lunch and were very kindly welcomed. The cooking is sophisticated and the desserts are amazing. The place itself is worth the visit. Fantastic restaurant for a break on the road.

I'm a member at the winery. They have affordable wines and gift shop. The Bistro has excellent food.

Food was luke warm and dried out. We could tell it had been sitting under a lamp for quite awhile. Waited for sandwiches for over 30 minutes. Service was minimum. Been here many times and this was the worst experience ever. I no longer recommend.

Heather, our server was outstanding. My mother in law got a free dessert and a "Happy Birthday" song from Heather and a huge bridal party. Best birthday celebration ever, thank y'all so much. We will highly recommend visiting Duplin Winery.Dietary restrictions: Glutton free options.

Had a lovely lunch, with a bit of a wait to be seated but there are two patio areas with drink service to wait in. Great club sandwich.

This is one of the best tucked away places to have lunch! The food is always on point! I enjoy having the perfectly grilled pimento cheese sandwich topped with a golden fried green tomato; this is my favorite! For an appetizer, I always order the fried pickles - they are amazing! The fried pickles are definitely a splurge item for me being that they are just a hint salty and just a smidgen greasy, but "good!" The sweet potato fries are another one of my top pics, they are fried to perfection - light and crispy with just the right flavor! To add a pop of flavor to the SP fries use the dipping sauce to set it off! Also, the alcohol free wine is really good, so good that I purchased a bottle to take home. The Bistro is cozy nice and quaint; they have quite a few tables for 2 which adds a nice romantic feel for a lunch date, or nice private vibe for lunch with a friend. Not to mention that the place is always clean, which is a plus! The wait staff always seem friendly and patient.Don't forget to visit the gift shop on the way out to purchase of course your favorite bottle of wine, wine glasses, wine bag or case, jewelry, a nice NC souvenir, and more! When it's nice out, this is a nice place to sit out at the outdoor tables!I make a little day trip just to enjoy the Duplin Winery! You must visit!

Wife had a Reuben sandwich, I had a grilled chicken bacon ranch wrap. All was incredibly good, down to the fries. Service was good, too. Highly recommend.

Great for a group trip. We had a timed reservation for the winery tour. You do have to drive down the road about 1 miles to the production center. No pictures allowed inside as we were walked through the process of making muscadine wine at the largest muscadine winery in the world. Our tour guide was informative and energetic. We learned a lot of interesting wine trivia. At the end we were given samples and a complimentary bottle of their best selling red wine. After the tour our group did a tasting. No choices. You get what is on their tasting menu. The tasting rooms are really nicely set up for a group. Your given a tasting notes sheet and catalog. With your tasting you get 1 complimentary glass of wine from their tasting list, conveniently redeemed in the very large gift shop. If you have never had muscadine, just be prepared for a sweet grape with a very unique taste.

After our very expensive winetasting, We waited a long time to have some lunch. They did pour a glass of wine, nice and full, However, The service was terrible. It took our waitress a long time to get to our table, And it took her even longer to get our food order out.

We went to the annual Grape Stomp and had to stop by the winery. I loved the Myrtle Beach location so much, I became a Club Member! This location is slightly different and has a few more rules. Our group did a tasting with Loretta. She kept saying that she was tired and we had to rush because they closed at 5pm. This was not good service especially to the people who had never been to a tasting. In addition, the young lady that checked us in messed up. Perhaps, they were overwhelmed due to the crowds as a result of the Grape Stomp. Hopefully, next year they will be better prepared. I love the wine! But think I'll stick to the Myrtle Beach location.

We decided to make an entire weekend of our visit. Rented a place on the beach and was in town for the grape stomp. It was a humid and rainy day...I was miserable. It had nothing to do with the event, just the weather. However, even if the weather was ideal, I'm not sure I would've had much fun. It was a lot of standing in one line after the other for something. There wasn't a lot of space to sit out and just enjoy the moment. I doubt we'll be back since it was a 4-hour drive from Charlotte.

This place was a great find on our travels. The food is fantastic, best rueben I have eaten. And I have had several all over the U.S. atmosphere is great. People were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Wines were good and reasonably priced. Will stop again on our way through.
