“The food and service is wonderful, it just a good country home town restaurant. My deceased brother and I would always eat here when I came to visit from Texas. But being in the restaurant business for over 45 years it definitely a great place to eat. May you Rest In Peace Robert ( lefty ) Tew.“

“Left White Lake to return home to Greensboro. I love mom and pop type shops and had wanted to try Big Daddy's. I went out of the way to try them on the way back to Greensboro, I am glad I did. When I arrived in Autryville, I was convinced that google gave me bad directions. Little store front in the middle of nowhere. Walked in and just loved the old store full of friendly people. They had good food and good prices. Fed 4 of us for about 25 bucks. The combination of a rural setting and good, friendly people, and a laid back environment makes this place somewhere I will visit anytime I visit white lake. Small family owned places like this with good food are hard to find, I will be back in the future and encourage others to travel to Autryville and enjoy the small town charm you will find here.“
